As we know, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." (Prov. 18:21)
The Lord is saying to His people that we are setting the course of our future......literally creating it.........by the words that we say. This is happening at lightening speed!
Heb.11:3 - "By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible."
Nugget of Gold: We shall have whatsoever we say! (Mark 11:23). The Lord has made a covenant with us. He has put His Holy Spirit upon us and has put His words in our mouth. (Isa. 59:21)
Prayer: Lord, only You have words of life (John 6:68). I choose life!
Do: Under the power of the Holy Spirit, write on notecards or a sheet of paper all the "positive affirmations" the Lord has spoken to you about your future and hope. Speak these things DAILY! Ask the Lord to put a guard over your mouth so that you won't speak words of death.
