Breaking The Mind Barrier

The Lord revealed that one of the Keys to advancing in His Kingdom in this hour is to break the "mind barrier" in each area that we're believing Him for. He recently showed me a particular area that I've been struggling with for 15 years or more. I had prayed and fasted, made declarations of faith, spoken the Word, and battled demons, but nothing seemed to move me forward in that which I was seeking. Suddenly, there was grace for break-through. It was a sovereign move of God. Only in hindsight has He shown me that He enabled me to break through the "mind barrier" in this area.

The sound barrier, which was broken during World War 2 in the 1940s, was recognized as an impediment to further acceleration. The Lord showed me that my mindset in this particular area was also an impediment to further progress. It was only after the breaking of this barrier in my mind that progress was made and results were seen.

We are in a time of acceleration. The Lord is actively removing those impediments in our minds that have kept us "stuck" in place. Our part is to believe, and to turn to the Lord of Breakthrough for His breaker anointing in every area of our lives. Only then can we move beyond the limitations of this sphere and enter the heavenly arena where miracles, signs, and wonders exist.

Micah 2:13 - "The breaker goes up before them. They break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, and the Lord at their head."

Convergence of God's Decrees

The Lord quickened to my spirit that we are in a time of "Convergence", in which many of the decrees that He's made over our lives are coming together and meeting. He spoke that nothing happens except by decree, both in the Kingdom of God and in the kingdom of darkness.

Job 23:14 - "For He performs what is appointed for me, and many such decrees are with Him."

Psalm 94:20-23 - "Can a throne of destruction be allied with Thee, one which devises trouble and misfortune by decree? They band themselves together against the soul of the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.... He will silence them in their evil."

A decree is an order or command having the force of law. Those words/promises that God has spoken to us, some as many as 20 years ago, were actually decrees that were issued concerning our lives and ministries. Once spoken forth by God, the Righteous Judge, from His heavenly court, these words have had the force of law in our lives. They have activated the ministry of angels on our behalf and the full attention of Holy Spirit as He works all things together for the accomplishment of God's will.

Jeremiah 1:12 - "I am watching over My word to perform it."

Let the Lord quicken those words that He has spoken forth as promises in our lives, knowing that they were actually decrees made that will come to pass. Know that you will see many of these promises come to pass simultaneously in this hour!

Course Correction

I heard the Lord say that He is making course corrections in people's lives right now. This is a window of time in which the God of Mercy is visiting His people to lead them into the path that He has ordained. Many have either gotten out of correct timing, or we've veered off of our destined path. Even one degree will take us to the wrong destination. These course corrections are vital to our future.

In scripture, we see Saul, soon to be the Apostle Paul, on the road to Damascus to persecute Christians. Jesus suddenly appeared to him, correcting his course and calling him to his Kingdom destiny.

Not long ago, I had a vision in which I was in an open box car with two other people. We were traveling on a train track through beautiful mountains in a foreign country. As we were admiring the scenery, I suddenly realized that we were no longer on the track; it had disappeared. However, the car seemed to maintain stability, and so I relaxed. Soon, though, I sensed that we had picked up speed. Looking ahead, I saw that we were heading straight for a cliff and were powerless to prevent the car from going over the edge. As we were falling to our death, I cried out to the Lord to save us!

The Lord revealed that we had passed from the perfect will of God into the permissible will of God. The permissible will of God led to destruction.

Proverbs 14:12 - "There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death."

Chuck Pierce recently reported the following word of the Lord: "This is a reprieve and a ceasing that I am decreeing from heaven..... Ask for a time of ceasing until people can reorder the way that they operate and My kingdom plan will go forth."

This is a time like no other in which we must hear the voice of the Lord and obey His instructions.

Isaiah 30:21 - "And your ears will hear a word behind you, 'This is the way, walk in it', whenever you turn to the right or to the left."

PRAY FOR THE RAIN!

It's time to pray for the rain of the Spirit on all the spiritual seed that has been sown! This is the time of the spring rain, and the Lord instructs us to pray to the Lord of the Harvest for His showers.

Zech.10:1 - Ask rain from the Lord at the time of the spring rain - the Lord who makes the storm clouds; and He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man."

The Lord quickened to me that as we pray to Him for the rain, He WILL GIVE THE RAIN for the seed which we have sown, and it will be "rich and plenteous"!

Isa. 30:23 - "Then He will give you rain for the seed which you will sow in the ground, and bread from the yield of the ground, and it will be rich and plenteous. On that day your liestock will graze in a roomy pasture."

The Lord revealed that He was not only bringing a quick harvest from seed sown in January and February of this year, but He is also bringing to fruition many things that have been sown in years past, and which have not yet come to harvest.

This is the time....... This is the season to reap a bountiful harvest. So pray to the Lord of the Harvest! This is an appointed time for harvest. Ask the Lord to send rain to your field and watch as He quickly answers this prayer in ways you can't even imagine.

You Will Know Them By Their Fruit

It is time for the gift of discernment to operate in our lives like never before. Scripture prophesies that in the last days, many will go forth displaying miracles, signs, and wonders. There will be both the false and the true. How will we know the difference? Even now, how can we differentiate between those who speak as though from God, but who really have a different spirit? Matthew 7 tells us that we will know them by their fruit!

Matt.7:20-23 - "So then, you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I NEVER KNEW YOU! Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'"

We are told in 1 Cor.8:3 that "if anyone loves God, he is known by Him." Thus, we see that a person who truly loves God is also known by Him. We love God if we do the things He has commanded us to do. Thus, the person who goes his or her own way, even while seeming to operate mightily in the gifts of the Spirit, is not really of God, but is operating in a different spirit. Do we see evidence of love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness? Do we feel a knitting together of our hearts with them when in their presence?

Many have become confused because of apparent "evidence" that someone is being used by God. However, there is no sure inner witness that we are joined together in unity. The Lord would say to you today, trust the witness of the Holy Spirit who dwells within you. Look not at outward signs, but look to the inner man. Test the spirit, and know them by their fruit! "A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit." (Matt.7:18)

What God Is Saying About Women

Many people have prophesied that this is a great year for women to come forth into their destinies and to take their God-ordained places in the Body of Christ. I believe that as women come into proper alignment, the men will come into their full destiny. This is because, in the beginning, "God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." (Gen.1:27) Thus, men and women are two halves of a whole; both must be in alignment in order to be one. Here, we're not speaking only of a marriage bond, but of the most fundamental relationship between men and women in God's creation.

Scripture is full of examples of women who affected the destinies of the men they were connected to - either for good or for evil:
Eve....... Adam
Sarah....... Abraham (Sarah gave Abraham to her maid, Hagar, resulting in Ishmael. Finally, she believed God and received the ability to conceive Isaac (the son of promise) in her old age.
Rahab ...... Ancestor of Jesus; Believed God and hid the spies
Ruth ....... Ancestor of Jesus; Had to obey God to be in the field for Boaz
Abagail..... Kept King David from sin; became his wife
Esther ..... Became Queen and saved her people
Deborah .... Sat in the gate and heard the command of God to send for Barak
Hannah ..... Dedicated the prophet Samuel to the Lord
Mary ....... Believed God and became the mother of Jesus

I believe the Lord is calling women according to Isaiah 54, "Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit." He is beautifying each precious bondservant, laying a foundation of sapphires and confirming His covenant of peace. Where things in these lives have been barren and desolate, the Lord is now bringing forth much fruit. Ministries that have been dormant will now produce many children. There will be no more shame or reproach, for the Lord has come as Redeemer!

"So arise and shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child. Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed. For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous than the sons of the married woman", says the Lord! (Isa.54:1)

Let Your Light Shine

I heard the Lord say, "Light will shine on all of your ways!" I knew this was a scripture, and I found it in the Book of Job.

Job 22:27,28 - "You will pray to Him, and He will hear you.... You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways."

No longer are we to walk in darkness, confusion, or heaviness. Many in the body of Christ have withdrawn and some have lost hope. The light of the calling and destiny the Lord revealed many years ago is about to be extinguished. The Lord would say to you, "AWAKE SLEEPER, AND ARISE FROM THE DEAD, AND I WILL SHINE ON YOU!" (Eph.5:14)

The Lord has come in power to gloriously re-ignite the vision, the hope, and the calling of His people. It is His light that will enlighten (furnish knowledge; instruct; give spiritual insight to) each one, according to John 1:9. It is His light that will draw both people and provision to us (Isa.60:1-5). Our part is to ARISE AND AWAKEN and let people SEE the good works the Lord has given us to accomplish. Come out of hiding. Do what the Lord has called you to do! Take the next step. Share the vision, that those who see it may run with it (Habakkuk 2:1-3).

Matthew 5:14-16 - "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp, and put it under the peck measure, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."

Change: Water Into Wine

Much has been said about the changes that are coming, and that are now upon us. Most people are looking for, and already experiencing, outward changes in personal circumstances, as well as the world around us. But the Lord began to speak to me about the most fundamental change that He is effecting in order to bring about His Kingdom rule in the earth.

One of the chief activities of the Holy Spirit right now is changing the "water of the word" that is stored in us into the "new wine" of the Spirit (John 2). Those in the body of Christ who are soft and flexible (pliant and yielding; characterized by a ready capability to adapt to new, different, or changing requirements) can be readily identified as the new wineskins the Lord has prepared. Just as grapes must endure the fermentation process in order to be changed to wine, so, too, are God's new wineskins undergoing this inward state of agitation and intense activity as the conversion into the "wine of the Spirit" is taking place.

The Lord will begin to draw out His new wine in this season, resulting in an open manifestation of His glory, with miracles, signs, and wonders. As we speak forth His Word, He will "bear witness to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by our hands" (Acts 14:3).

John 2:6-11 - "Now there were six stone waterpots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing twenty or thirty gallons each. Jesus said to them, 'Fill the waterpots with water'...... 'Draw some out now'.... And when the headwaiter tasted the water, which had become wine..... he said, 'You have kept the good wine until now.' This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory."

Matt.9:17 - "Nor do men put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved."

Watch What You Sow

We're living in the days of Amos 9:11-15, in which that which we sow will be quickly reaped. No longer will there be a delay of months and years before we witness a manifestation. The Lord is both restoring that which has been lost to us, resulting in a great harvest of blessings, provision, restored relationships, etc., as well as accelerating the cycle of harvest in this day.

Amos 9:13 - "Behold days are coming," declares the Lord, "When the plowman will overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed...."

The Lord had impressed on me to watch the new opportunities for giving that He brought before us in the first fruits month of January. As we obeyed Him in the plowing and the sowing of our seed (finances, time, intercession, commitments), He was setting the course for our future. So look carefully at the past 31 days. Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal the new thing that He's doing in your life and ministry. Look for a quick harvest of those things that you've already put your time and financial resources to. Be especially mindful of the new relationships, alliances, and open doors that He's bringing into your life at this time.

We're living in a day like no other!

The Third Part

The Lord awakened me at 4:40 a.m., and I knew the number "44" was significant. He then began to speak to me from 2 Kings 4:44.

2 Kings 4:42-44 - "Now a man came from Baal-Shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And he said, 'Give them to the people that they may eat.'"
"And his attendant said, 'What, shall I set this before a hundred men?' But he said, 'Give them to the people that they may eat, for thus says the Lord, "They shall eat and have some left over."'"
"So he set it before them, and they ate, and had some left over, according to the word of the Lord."

The Lord quickened me to look up the meaning of "Baal-Shalishah". "Shalishah" means "third part". The Lord spoke:

Zech.13:9 - "And I (have brought) the third part through the fire, refined them as silver is refined, and tested them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say, 'They are My people.' And they will say, 'The Lord is my God.'"

For the past number of years, the Word of the Lord has been testing His body. Each time we have received a revelation, it has been tested and proven in our lives. We've been through the refining fires of the Holy Spirit so that the Word of the Lord is now a "pure" word in our mouths, proceeding from a pure heart.

All prophetic voices agree that we have come to the time of miracles, signs and wonders. These signs will be released as a confirmation of His word spoken under the unction of the Holy Spirit. After Elijah raised the widow's son from the dead, she said, "Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth!" (1 Kings17:24).

We will know the people of "the third part" by the signs that follow. One of the key ways in which the Lord will be moving is in the area of multiplication of resources. That which is dedicated to the Lord (as in first fruits) will multiply, resulting in ample provision for those that we're ministering to. There will also be an overflow, so that our own needs will be amply met. Let us be alert to the new thing the Lord is doing in this season! Let us walk by faith and not by sight, expecting the supernatural in our midst. Let our words not be "in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power"! (1 Cor.2:4)

Let Deborah and Barak Arise!

Most prophetic voices agree that the Lord, the Captain of the Host, is calling His people to the battle lines as never before. The enemy is amassing an army, and the body of Christ is now being required to go on the offensive. We are to receive His strategy and march according to His command.

The Lord gave me a vision in which three battle-worn commanders of the Lord's army, one woman and two men, were consulting with one another about a course of action. They had been in the process of setting a group of prisoners free (mostly women), then arming and training them for the upcoming battle. These three knew the enemy was coming, and were expecting an onslaught. However, it was reported that the enemy didn't have horses, and this was slowing them down. Where previously the commanders had been waiting for an attack, they now decided to go on the offensive. Instead of fighting in ankle-deep mud in the current location, people could position themselves on flat, solid rock for better footing. The commanders went about arming the people and training them for hand-to-hand combat.

We are in a time of arming and preparation. The war has been raging, and there have already been casualties. The Lord is now calling His Deborahs and Baraks to unite in battle, leading His people to sure victory. These are the men and women who have fought and overcome many battles with the enemy. They are established in their faith and have gained credibility in their places of service, just as Deborah was an established prophetess and judge. The Lord revealed both His will and strategy to this noble woman, who then summoned Barak.

Judges 4:6 - "Now she sent and summoned Barak... and said to him, 'Behold, the Lord, the God of Israel, has commanded, "Go and march to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men...."'"

Note that Barak didn't initiate this course of action, nor did he decide to "include" Deborah in the campaign. Instead, He realized that he couldn't proceed without her at his side.

Judges 4:8 - "Then Barak said to her, 'If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.'"

Deborah had the anointing required for battle. She had been given the strategy for victory. Both were God's chosen instruments to lead the army of God at His command. So, too, is it in this day. As many have prophesied, men and women will be going forth as one in battle. One cannot go forth without the other. Watch for many supernatural "joinings" as the Lord continues to muster and prepare His troops for the battles ahead.

It's Time For The Horses

I believe the Spirit of God spoke that He has now released the horses for those in the bridal company who have prepared themselves. Jesus has come as Captain of the Hosts of the Lord, and He is calling forth His army. No longer are we to be on the defensive against the enemy, but He is now leading a mighty throng against injustice in the land.

A horse is indicative of great strength, swiftness, and authority in the Spirit, and the Lord is calling forth those people and ministries that He has birthed and equipped for this hour. The focus will not be on individuals, but only on the Captain of the Host. Heavenly portals have been opened throughout the land for the "King of Glory.... The Lord strong and mighty.... The Lord mighty in battle." (Psalm 24:8) Those who have prepared themselves will be following Him on these spiritual horses, as a foreshadowing of the Bride at the time of the end.

Rev.19:11-15 - "And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war..... And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses."

Many have prophesied of a time of acceleration in this new year, accompanied by great manifestations of His glory, with miracles, signs, and wonders. Those who are now being given a horse have "run with the footmen in a land of peace" (Jeremiah 12:5), and are now qualified to "run with horses".

Signs In Nature

I had a dream in which I was in a lovely forest with a small number of people. Suddenly, we noticed that a large herd of animals had gathered in an opening close by, and that there were many monkeys in trees surrounding us. A large number of these monkeys were hanging from the trees, and several of them were riding the backs of lions. These and other animals began increasing in number and activity, and we knew that we had to run to our nearby house for safety.

As I pondered this, as well as another recent dream in which I was surrounded by sharks in a large body of water, I heard the Lord say the word "amass". The meaning of this word is to "gather or assemble into a large number". The Lord went on to reveal that the enemy is now gathering his people in a way that we haven't seen before. Satan is beginning to reveal his strategy, as evidenced by the recent deaths of birds, who dwell in the second heaven (which is Satan's throne), as well as fish in the waters below the earth.

We know that the Lord is our refuge and sure place of safety. In recent months (and even years), He has been drawing His people out of the world and the world system. He is also gathering His people together in the places that He desires, and we are being assembled together with those who have the same heart, mind, and purpose in His Spirit. This will increasingly be the only true place of safety in the days ahead. It will also be a time of the church's greatest triumph!

Jude 1:10 - "But these men revile the things which they do not understand; and the things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed."

Psalm 2:1-12 - "Why are the nations in an uproar, and the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Anointed..... He who sits in the heavens laughs. The Lord scoffs at them.... Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; take warning O judges of the earth.... Do homage to the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way. For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!"

"monkey" - deceit; dishonesty; using flattery to gain an advantage; foolishness
"lion" - intimidation
"shark" - judgmental spirit; people you know attack unexpctedly; formidable enemy who is jealously working against you

Called, Appointed, Anointed

The Lord has called and appointed His witnesses to proclaim the living Word in this hour. This company is now going forth with great power and authority, having been prepared and designated by God as His chosen vessels.

Mark 3:13-15 - "And He went up to the mountain and summoned those whom He Himself wanted, and they came to Him. And He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him, and that He might send them out to preach and to have authority to cast our the demons."

I heard the Lord say that He has given "golden pipes", or vocal cords, to those He has appointed (named officially) to carry His message. These people will have the "golden oil" that will be continually poured out from His throne room. They are the anointed ones who "are standing by the Lord of the whole earth" (Zech.4:14). This company has complete access to heavenly strategies and the hidden wisdom that is being released in this season. These sons of fresh oil are a foreshadowing of the two witnesses spoken of in Revelation 11. Great power and authority have been given to them.

Zech. 4:12;14 - "What are the two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes, which empty the golden oil from themselves? These are the two anointed ones, who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth."

Rev.11:3-6 - "And I will grant authority to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy..... These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. And if anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies.... These have the power to shut up the sky, in order that rain may not fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they desire."

The number two is signifiant, as the Lord is not sending this company out singly, but by two or more. The number "two" signifies the following: testimony; witness; blessing; judgment; revelation; harmony; the living Word; incarnation (giving bodily form or substance to).

NUGGET OF GOLD: The Lord Himself has called, appointed, and anointed a remnant to go forth with His living Word in this hour of earth's history. Great is the call on their lives. Those counted among this number have already laid down their lives. They have come out of the world system in every way that the Lord has required of them. The testimony of Jesus is in their mouth, and they "love not their life even to death" (Rev.12:11). We'll recognize them by their fruit, and by the signs and wonders that follow them.

Prayer For the New Year

The Father of Glory has many things planned for His sons and daughters in this new year (and new age). Much has been prophesied and we are eagerly awaiting the fulfillment of His promises. The prayer that Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Glory, impressed on my heart this morning is Ephesians 1:17-19:

"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the true knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe..."

It's not enough to pray for wisdom and revelation. I believe God is saying to pray specifically for a revelation of His glory and power, which are already deposited within each believer, and which provide for us "everything pertaining to life and godliness" (2 Peter 1:3). The key is to walk in the true knowledge of this inheritance.

On December 21st, I heard the Lord say the word, "Attributes". I knew that He was referring to those qualities listed in 2 Pet.1:4-8. We can become partakers of His glory and power to the degree that we're walking in these divine attributes.

NUGGET OF GOLD: Let us test ourselves to see if we can be found walking in His divine nature. Then, make it the cry of your heart to know, understand, see, and experience more of His glory and power in this new year! Both are already in us, and it is the desire of the Father to manifest both His glory and His power through us.

May this be our best year ever!

The Instructors Will Shine Brightly

We have entered a time when those with the true Word of the Lord will "shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven" (Dan.12:3). The people who truly know God will stand out among all those professing to be Christians. There will be a clear distinction between those who the Lord has filled with His message and those who have not stood in the council of the Lord.

These are the days prophesied by Amos when people are beginning to "go to and fro to seek the word of the Lord...."

Amos 8:11,12 - "'Behold, days are coming,' declares the Lord God, 'When I will send a famine on the land. Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, but rather for hearing the words of the Lord. And people will stagger from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east; they will go to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.'"

The Lord is highlighting His true messengers.... His true instructors. These are the believers who have a history with God of "not living by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord" (Deut.8:3). Only this company will have words of life. In the midst of darkness that will increasingly cover the land, these "instructors" will stand out as the the only light. Signs and wonders will be done by their hands.

Daniel 11:32,33 - "But the people who know their God will display strength and take action. And those who have insight among the people will give understanding to the many..."

I believe the Lord indicated that Isaiah 8:11-22 best describes the period of time we've now entered:

- We are not to fear what is coming upon the world, but we are to fear God!
- Our only place of safety and refuge is in walking and speaking according to the Word of the Lord!

Word For 2011

The Lord has chosen the people and places for His Glory to dwell in the earth. He is adorning and beautifying those He has chosen (in the Spirit). These are the ones who are full of joy, and who continually praise Him for His goodness, even though much has not yet manifested. However, this company of believers is about to see such an overflow of abundant blessings in their lives, that they will hardly be able to contain all that God will pour out.

There will be such a manifestation of the power and presence of Holy Spirit in these lives, that people will see and be drawn to them. God Himself will make a name for them. No self-promotion will be needed. Wealthy men and women from all nations of the world will be drawn to these believers in the places where God has planted them. There will be no lack of finances for the work of the Kingdom. It will be evident to all that the very hand and favor of God are upon these people, ministries, and churches.

Even though the Lord will make a name for those He glorifies, only God will receive the glory for the miracles, signs, and wonders. As in the early church, these present day disciples will humbly glorify the Name of Jesus, desiring no recognition for themselves or their ministry.

Jeremiah 13:11 - "'For as the waistband clings to the waist of a man, so I made the whole household of Israel and the whole household of Judah cling to Me,' declares the Lord, 'that they might be for Me a people for a name, for praise, and for glory...'"

Jeremiah 33:9 - "And it shall be to Me a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear of all the good that I do for them, and they shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the peace that I make for it."

Meeting Place

The Lord revealed that He is establishing "meeting places" upon the earth that will be filled with His glory, and that will become known as places to meet and speak with God.

He has always met with believers individually, as we are His temple. Such corporate places as Toronto, Canada, and Pensacola, Florida, have become temporary dwelling places of His glory, where multiplied hundreds of people have been saved, healed, and delivered. However, I believe the Lord is designating many such corporate places in this hour where He will choose to manifest His glory on a continual basis.

Deut.12:5 - "But you shall seek the Lord at the place which the Lord your God shall choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there for His dwelling, and there you shall come."

Exod.29:42-45 - ".... the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. And I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by My glory."

This will be evidence of Amos's prophecy that in the last days, God will raise up the fallen tabernacle of David (Amos 9:11; Acts 15:15-18). The Lord desires that "all mankind may seek the Lord", and the Holy Spirit will draw men to the homes, churches, ministries, and buildings that the Lord Himself has designated and chosen to beautify (glorify).

NUGGET OF GOLD: Just as many in the time of Jesus missed the hour of their visitation, let us not be counted among those today. If we're seeking the manifestation of His glory only in our local churches or from well-known ministries, we may miss Him. Let us be alert and watchful in the comning days and weeks, and may we quickly follow Him wherever He may lead us.

The Things Revealed

It is at this time that the Lord is revealing those things that He has prepared for us, His children. There remain secret things known only to the Father, but He is reminding us in this Christmas season that if He has revealed something, it belongs to us!

Deut. 29:29 - "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us, and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law."

What has the Lord revealed through His word, through dreams and visions, and through prophetic utterance? If you've seen it in the Spirit, then the Father wants you to know that it belongs to you.

1 Cor.2:9-13 - "Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit..... Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God; which things we also speak....."

God wants us to know those things that He has prepared for us in this hour. He is revealing spiritual gifts, material gifts, provision, blessings, creative ideas, and ministries that are about to be birthed into this natural realm. Our part is to freely receive those things that He reveals, and then gratefully and thankfully speak of them.

RELEASE!

As I was awakening this morning, I heard the Lord speak the word "Release!" I immediately knew in my spirit that the King of Kings, Jesus, had issued this command and that His people were now being released from that which has restrained, confined, burdened, and oppressed them. Release also carries the meaning of "discharge from an obligation or a responsibility".

We have come to a Kairos moment in which we are being set free, adorned as royalty, and anticipating the soon command of our King to go forth into that which He has prepared for us from the foundation of the world.

Joseph came to such a time in his life. At the age of 17, God showed him his future inheritance in a vision (Gen.37:5-10), but it wasn't until the age of 30 that he "stood before Pharaoh, king of Egypt", and received his promotion to second in command over all the nation (Gen.41:46). Scripture tells us that while he was waiting, in confinement, the Word that the Lord had spoken was refining him as silver is refined, and testing him as gold is tested in the furnace.

Psalm 105:18-22 - "They afflicted his feet with fetters. He himself was laid in irons; until the time that His word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested (refined) him. The king sent and released him, the ruler of the peoples, and set him free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions, to imprison (bind) his princes at his will.... "

The Lord is granting great authority to the people that He has now released, those who have successfully come through the fires of testing and refining. This authority will be seen in the spirit realm first, and evidence in the natural realm will quickly follow. This is a quick work. Jesus has already issued the command. Our part is to obey that which He has already been speaking to us. It may involve coming out of a job, relationship, or even a ministry or church affiliation, if in that place we have not experienced the complete freedom of the Spirit.

Those who the Lord has released will now bear the Isaiah 61 anointing in great measure, to proclaim RELEASE to the captives, and freedom to the prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God!

Captain of the Hosts

Jesus has come now as Captain of the Host of the Lord. His sword is drawn, and He has lifted up His standard over the people who have separated themselves wholly unto His purposes, and at His command. This is the time that we are taking the land of our inheritance, and God's enemies will be removed by force. His mighty angels are joining the people of God in battle to enforce the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. We know, of course, that only after the Great Tribulation, and during the thousand year reign of Christ, will we see a complete fulfillment of the Lord's Kingdom reign on earth. However, the Lord is now establishing His rule (through His people and according to His promises) in many places in the earth, and He has given us the authority to execute the judgments that are written (Psalm 149:6-9).

Joshua 5:13,14 - "Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, 'Are you for us or for our adversaries?' And he said, 'No, rather I indeed come now as captain of the host of the Lord.'"

In May of this year, I heard the Lord say that "polarization" had taken place in the body of Christ. This describes a division into two opposites, as opposed to a continuum. I also heard Him say on Memorial Day of this year to "Muster yourselves in troops" (Micah 5:1). This was a clear indication that He was gathering His people together in a new way - with one heart, one mind, and a single purpose. No longer was He allowing mixture in His called out ones.

The Lord said that both His people, as well as the enemy, have been under camouflage. The word "camouflage" means to disguise (esp. military equipment or installations), conceal, hide, or deceive. God's warriors have been largely hidden until this time, but He is beginning to call us forth. At the same time, the Lord will remove the covering the enemy has depended on to mask insincere behavior, trickery, and artifice in the body of Christ.

2 Tim.3:13 - "But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived."

Malachi 3:18 - "So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him."

NUGGET OF GOLD: Let us be alert and sober minded in this day. These are truly the best of times and the worst of times. It is the church's finest hour, but these are also days of increasing darkness. The devil has "come down to the earth, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time." (Rev.12:12). But as Daniel prophesies, "The people who know their God will display strength and take action." (Daniel 11:32)

Unwrap Your Gift!

I heard the Lord say "unwrap", which means "to disclose; reveal; make known". He went on to say that during this Christmas season, He wants to show us those things that we've been asking and seeking Him for with regard to the coming year. Many find themselves waiting upon the Lord, having obeyed His instructions during the past months and seeing many things come to a completion. There's now a question before the Lord, "What's next?" "What will You be doing in the coming year?" "What is the new thing You'll be doing in my life?"

The Lord would say, "Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit.... which things we also speak...." (1 Cor.2:9,10 13)

God wishes to disclose to us what is to come! He is instructing us to press in during this Christmas season to bring clarity to that which He has already begun showing us in dreams and visions, through a word of prophecy, and in the still, small voice of Holy Spirit.

John 16:13-15 - "But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own initiative; but whatever He hears He will speak. And He will disclose to you what is to come. He shall glorify Me, for He shall take of Mine and shall disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine....."

Then, we are to proclaim and declare those things which He shows us, before they come to pass. The Lord Himself shows us this pattern in Isaiah:

Isa.48:3-6 - "I declared the former things long ago, and they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass. I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things which you have not known. They are created now and not long ago."

NUGGET OF GOLD: It is God's desire that each of us know what lies immediately ahead. He's called us to participate with Him in bringing our future to pass. Let us be intentional about seeking His face during this special season, knowing that He has gifts for us that He would have us "unwrap". These gifts include gifts of the Spirit, as well as understanding what the Lord has prepared for us in the days and year ahead.

Time Revelations and Breaking Through Into The Supernatural

Before something comes into existence in the natural, it is first created by the word of faith. It must be declared and proclaimed!

Isa.42:9 - "Behold, the former things have come to pass. Now I declare new things. Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you."

Isa.48:3-7 - "I declared the former things long ago, and they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted and they came to pass... Therefore, I declared them to you long ago. Before they took place I proclaimed them to you.... I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things which you have not known. They are created now and not long ago."

Hebrews 11:3 - "By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible."

The prophetic word has to build mass and momentum over a period of time to come out of the spirit realm into the natural realm.

I believe the Lord revealed that it takes 30 days to create!

Bev Robinson, in her booklet, "Quantum Physics", states, "God has given us the power to create our own world, just as He did. The Lord says, 'I tell you that every word you speak creates your own world.... You begin with words that were first formed in your heart and mind. Consistently speaking those faith-filled words is essential.'"

I believe the Lord has ordained certain pre-determined periods of time that He has designated to accomplish/produce certain results. We see this in the number "40" with regard to trial and break-through. We see this in the 1 hour Jesus designated as the daily time with Him required to strengthen the flesh against temptation (Matt.26:40,41 - "So you men could not keep watch with Me for one hour? Keep watching and praying, that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.")

I recently heard the Lord say, "rarefied atmosphere". The word "rarefied" indicates a condition of being thin, porous, and less dense, requiring minimum pressure to penetrate. I believe God is saying that there is now a very thin veil separating the earth's atmosphere and the atmosphere of heaven/supernatural realm. It now requires much less effort to break through!

NUGGET OF GOLD: Let us purpose to take one or two (or more) of the promises the Lord has quickened to us, and for 30 days declare and decree these things that we're believing for. Instead of waiting passively for the Lord to move, let us join Him as together we create the circumstances in our lives that He has promised!

Manifestation of The Sons of God

The Lord spoke that we are now in a time that He is manifesting His glory in and through the sons He has prepared. He will manifest His glory through miracles, signs, and wonders, and through immediate fulfillment of the prophetic word.

1 COR.2:4,5 - "And my message (word) and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God."

For the past number of years (5-20+), the Lord has been preparing a people for His Glory in the refining fires of His Spirit (Mal.3:3). The remnant that has yielded to this work of the Spirit has been refined as silver and gold. That which He has produced in us has become the "greater weight of glory" spoken of in 2 Cor.4:17. Just as Jesus manifested the glory that was within Him when He changed the water into wine at the marriage feast in Cana, so, too, will we manifest the glory within us through healings, deliverance, signs, and miracles.

JOHN 2:11 - "This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory...."

Chuck Pierce declared recently that there is a certain moment for manifestation. I believe the Lord has given the authority to His people, as we hear His voice and operate in His anointing, to decree the manifestation in this hour! He is saying, "Behold, NOW is the acceptable time. Behold, NOW is the day of salvation!" (2 Cor.6:2)

NUGGET OF GOLD: Let us step into the hour and the power of the Kingdom, "for the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God!" (Romans 8:19) Let us speak boldly as Peter did in Acts 3:6 -

"I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you; In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene - walk!"

Hope For The Future

The Lord spoke these words, "Hope for the future", and then reminded me of promises that He has made to me over the years. There are three words in particular that He quickens to me on a fairly regular basis. Like many of you, I've maintained my faith and hope in these promises, knowing that "what He had promised, He was able also to perform" (Romans 4:21). However, the Lord showed me that I had actually lost hope for these words, and I found myself crying out for Him to revive my hope!

Hebrews 6:11 - "And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end."

Vines defines this full assurance of hope as expressing the completeness of its activity in the soul (mind, will, emotions). Thus, there's a completeness required of hope in order for it to become the substance of faith in Hebrews 11:1. The Lord showed me that when our promises haven't yet materialized in the natural, there's a remaining work of Holy Spirit in our souls.

When I prayed for the Lord to revive my hope, I was asking Him to cause it to become active again! Hope had become passive in my soul without my even realizing it.

Hosea 6:1-3 - "He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him."

NUGGET OF GOLD: Let us come before the Lord and cry out for Him to revive the hopes and promises for the future that have already been spoken over our lives. Then, fully trust Him who is able to bring these words to pass in our lives in His perfect time.

Two Baskets of Figs

The Lord had me turn to Jeremiah 24 and then spoke a very sobering word. He said that the separation in the body of Christ has already taken place between those who serve Him with a whole heart and those who don't. He said that those who have given Him all of their hearts will now receive ALL OF HIM!

JEREMIAH 24:1-10 - "The Lord showed me: behold, two baskets of figs set before the temple of the Lord! One basket had very good figs, like first-ripe figs, and the other basket had very bad figs, which could not be eaten due to rottenness."

The Lord says in Jeremiah that He will set His eyes on the "good figs" to plant them and build them up. He will fully enter into covenant with those who have completely given themselves to Him. We will have unparalleled access to all that He is and all that He has in a way that has not been available before this time

What's the verdict for those who have not yielded to the gentle (and sometimes not so gentle) nudgings of the Holy Spirit over the past number of years? Following are some of the things I believe the Lord has shown me through His Word:

1. According to Jeremiah 24:8, the Lord will abandon (give up) the bad figs. He will remove His presence and His blessings.
2. According to Isaiah 22:8, He will remove their covering.
3. According to Hosea 4:17, the Lord will "let them alone". Thus, these Christians will be left to their own devices, reaping from the ways of the world and the world system as "darkness covers the earth and deep darkness the peoples" (Isa.60:2).

FIRE and GLORY!

I heard the Lord speak the words, "Fire and Glory", and I knew that He was speaking of a particular work of the Holy Spirit in the season/new year we've just entered. I perceived Him saying, "These are the best of times and the worst of times!"

EXODUS 24:17 - "And to the eyes of the sons of Israel the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the mountain top."

Over the past months, the Lord has been making "glory deposits" in His people. These deposits have had a purifying effect on those who have submitted to this work of the Holy Spirit to "make ready a people prepared for the Lord" (Luke 1:17).
We're actually being clothed in His glory as we allow the fire of the Lord to cleanse and sanctify us.

MALACHI 3:3 - "And He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the Lord offerings in righteousness."

This new mantle of Glory will be our protection in the times just ahead. But for the unrighteous (beginning first with the household of God), the fire and glory of His presence will bring judgment and loss. Every work that has not been built according to His Spirit will be revealed (1 Cor.3:10-15). Everything that does not bear fruit will be cut off (Luke 3:9).

MALACHI 4:1 - "For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff, and the day that is coming will set them ablaze," says the Lord of hosts, "so that it will leave them neither root nor branch."

NUGGET OF GOLD: These are indeed the best of times and the worst of times. The hour has come for those who have been baptized with Holy Spirit fire to shine like the sun. The Lord is sending us forth to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom, with signs and wonders following! He has "clothed us with power from on high" (Luke 24:49), and we are His witnesses. Let us be bold and confident, knowing that His Glory is upon us!

The Prophetic Word

I believe the Lord revealed that we have come to a time when there will be no more delay in the manifestation of the prophetic word! The Holy Spirit is indicating that He has prepared vessels who can be trusted to speak only that which He is speaking, and to deliver the prophetic word only when sent by Him.

2Peter 1:20,21 - "But know this first of all, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God."

Prophecy has the power to move through time and space and to release the thing being prophesied. Faith is the delivery system (Rom.12:6 - "if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith."). The Book of Joel speaks of a time when there will be a restoration of prophecy, accompanied by miracles, signs, and wonders. I believe the Lord is indicating that the body of Christ has now entered into this time and season.

The Lord quickened the following with regard to this new season:

Ezekiel 12:23-28 - "The days draw near as well as the fulfillment of every vision. For there will no longer be any false vision or flattering divination.... For I the Lord shall speak, and whatever word I speak will be performed. It will NO LONGER BE DELAYED, for in your days, O rebellious house, I shall speak the word and perform it. Son of man, behold, the house of Israel is saying, 'The vision that he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies of times far off.' "Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God, "None of My words will be delayed any longer. Whatever word I speak will be performed"'", declares the Lord God."

NUGGET OF GOLD: We're living in a time when both the kindness of God and His severity will be seen in the earth, beginning with His people. For decades, the Lord has sent many prophetic words and warnings, but few have heeded His call. We will now see a swift harvest of actions and decisions, with judgment falling on those things that do not line up with the Word of God. The true prophetic word of the Lord will go forth, with almost immediate fulfillment.

May we be sober and watchful, giving God the Glory!

A Time To Be Opened

I believe the Lord is indicating by His Spirit that we have entered a window of time for things TO BE OPENED to us! By faith, we are to proclaim "opening" to circumstances, finances, understanding, eyes, ears, and even wombs.

Isaiah 61:1 - "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to PROCLAIM liberty to captives, and OPENING to prisoners..."

Here are some of the areas that I feel the Lord has released grace for opening:

OPENING OF EYES TO SEE (Matt.9:29,30)
OPENING OF UNDERSTANDING (Luke 24:45)
OPENING OF GATES/TREASURES (Isa.45:1-3)
OPENING OF WINDOWS OF HEAVEN TO POUR OUT BLESSINGS (Mal.3:10)
OPENING OF DOORS WHEN WE KNOCK (Luke 11:10)
OPENING OF DOOR IN HEAVEN TO REVEAL THINGS TO COME (Rev.4:1)
OPENING OF EARS TO HEAR (Matt.13:16)
OPENING OF WOMBS (Gen.29:31; Gen.30:22)
OPENING OF THAT WHICH IS BLOCKED WITH THE KEY OF DAVID (Isa.22:22;Rev.3:7)

Nugget of Gold: Proclaim opening to that which has been closed! Receive your opening by faith, knowing that God is for you and that He has ordained this window of time for the manifestation of your promises.

Lord, may You confirm Your word, granting that signs and wonders be done in our midst!

The Prophetic Word

True prophecy releases the thing that is being prophesied. These are the words that we hear as we stand in the very presence of God, and then are sent by Him to deliver them.

2 Pet.1:20,21 - "But know this first of all, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men MOVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT spoke from God."

Prophecy moves through time and space, and faith is the delivery system.

Rom.12:6 - "....if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith."

I believe we have come to a time when the words released by the Spirit of God will have quick manifestations in this natural realm. As Keith Miller announced in a recent conference, "NO MORE DELAY!"

Ezek.12:25;28 - "'For I the Lord shall speak, and whatever word I speak will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, for in your days.... I shall speak the word and perform it', declares the Lord."

Whirlwinds of Fire

At a recent visit of Chuck Pierce to Houston, a prophetic word went forth about "whirlwinds of fire" seen throughout the city. The Lord prompted me to re-visit what He had spoken a year ago about His whirlwind (see blog dated August 24,2009).

Proverbs 10:25 - "When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting FOUNDATION."

1 Cor.3:11,13 - "For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ..... each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it, because it is to be revealed with FIRE; and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work."

I believe the Lord has released His whirlwind! Destruction is coming for those who have built on any foundation other than Jesus. These people, churches, and ministries will suffer loss if they've built according to man's wisdom, which "is foolishness before God". However, His whirlwind will pick up and propel His righteous ones to the place that He has prepared for us! The Lord will reward those who have built according to His Spirit, and it is these "structures" that will go forward into this decade and beyond!

Evidence Of The Promise

The Lord quickened to me that He is releasing tangible evidence of the prophetic promises He has given to us. This evidence of what is soon to manifest fully will be seen by "eyewitnesses", thus leaving no doubt of that which God has spoken.

2 Peter 1:16-19 - "We were eyewitnesses.... And we ourselves heard this utterance.... And so we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns...."

The word "sure" is defined by Webster's dictionary as "reliable; trustworthy; basing of a conclusion or conviction on definite grounds or indubitable (too evident to be doubted) evidence". Until now, the prophetic words that the Lord has given to each of us have stood as "a lamp shining in a dark place". But now, the "day dawns", and that which has been spoken in private will be seen openly.

The Lord recently demonstrated this in our women's ministry through a substantial donation. This money is enabling us to proceed with two projects the Lord had given to us, but is also a clear indication of His pleasure and favor. Thus, the prophetic word concerning the future of this ministry was "made more sure"!

NUGGET OF GOLD: What prophetic promises has the Lord given to you? Is He quickening one or more of them? Be looking for a manifestation concerning your Word, and know that the time of its fulfillment draws near.

Written Words

The Lord quickened the importance of writing down the words that He speaks to us, whether "face-to-face", through a prophetic word delivered by another believer, or in dreams and visions. The significance of the written record is threefold:

1. As a COVENANT with the Lord.
2. As a MEMORIAL before ourselves and the Lord.
3. As a WITNESS

Exod.34:27 - "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Write down (for yourself) these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.'"

Exod.17:14 - "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Write this in a book as a memorial...'"

John 5:39 - "You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is these that bear witness of Me."

A covenant is a written agreement. A memorial is something that keeps remembrance alive, and a witness bears testimony. The Lord would have us know how imperative it is to have a written record of all the words He speaks to us personally and individually, that we may secure our destiny and inherit all that He has appointed for us.

Let us come before the Lord, the Righteous Judge, and remind Him of His words. Let us confirm the covenant He has made with us for our promises, and let us add the testimony of our mouths as we decree His will for us!

God's Timetable

The "times and seasons" of the Lord occur in cycles. A cycle is defined as "an interval of time during which a sequence of a recurring succession of events or phenomena is completed."

I believe the Lord revealed that the Book of Joel represents a key cycle in the Spirit. Although this prophetic book has its ultimate fulfillment in the end times, I believe the body of Christ is currently positioned in Joel 2:18-24.

Joel 2:24 - "And the threshing floors will be full of grain; and the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil."

As we see in the first chapter of Joel, the cycle begins with judgment and devastation...... a total stripping away of that which had existed before the locusts came. In the midst of this desolation, the Lord calls for His people to repent and turn back to Him.

Joel 2:12,13 - "Yet even now, declares the Lord, return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping, and mourning; And rend your heart and not your garments."

When this is our response, the Lord promises full restoration (vs.18-27), followed by a pouring out of His Spirit (vs.28,29). This is followed by a display of signs, wonders, and miracles (vs.30-32), and the "Valley of Decision" (Joel 3:14) for all flesh.

Have we been looking for signs and wonders? Have we cried out to the Lord for a great harvest of souls? Yes, many in the church are pressing in like never before through prayer, intercession, repentance, and worship. However, we've missed the promise of restoration that comes before such outpourings. The body of Christ, as a whole, has been unaware of the warfare that preceeds and guarantees this restoration. Just as the children of Israel crossed the Jordan into the promised land, only to fight and drive out the giants so that they could take possession of their inheritance, so is warfare required for us to inherit our promise.

When God's people humble themselves and return to Him with a whole heart, He arises as a Man of War to fight our enemies and restore to us our rightful inheritance!

Isa.42:13 - "The Lord will go forth like a warrior. He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout; yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies."
Joel 2:20 - "I will remove the northern (demonic) army far from you. And I will drive it into a parched and desolate land, and its vanguard into the eastern sea, and its rear guard into the western sea...."

I believe we are NOW seeing the Lord arise to battle our enemies, as we fight and decree the victory in concert with the Lord of Hosts and the angels! As we complete our travel through the narrow place (prophesied by Chuck Pierce and others), I believe the new year (beginning September 9, 2010) will see the promised restoration, followed quickly by an outpouring of the Holy Spirit such as we've never seen before. This will be accompanied by miracles, signs, and wonders, and God's people will do exploits and win many to Christ.

Nugget of Gold: Hold the course! Victory is at hand! There will be no more delay in our lives as we boldly stand on the promises we've been given! The Lord has formed His new wine skins and filled us with the new wine. He has poured out a fresh anointing, and we are filled with His Spirit!

The Lord's Exiles

The Lord prompted me to turn to Jeremiah 24, and He drew my attention to something that I hadn't noticed in these passages.

Jer.24:5 - "Thus says the Lord God of Israel, 'Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the captives of Judah whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans.'"

Jer.29:4 - "Thus says the Lord of hosts.... to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon...."
vs.5 - "Build houses and live in them; and plant gardens and eat their produce."

An "exile" is one who separates himself from his home. It is someone who is either forced or is voluntarily absent from one's country or home. The Lord speaks very clearly in Jeremiah 24 and 29 that His Blessings and Prosperity are for those who He sent into captivity. These exiles were those who obeyed Him, even though the outward circumstances of leaving their homes and country seemed just the opposite of wisdom. In fact, God pronounced a curse upon those who remained behind and who didn't choose to go into exile with their brothers. The blessing and the promise of a future inheritance in Jer. 29, which is so familiar and so often quoted, was for the EXILES who had obeyed God!

Jesus tells us in Matthew 10:37 - "He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me....", and in Matthew 19:29 - "And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name's sake, shall receive many times as much, and shall inherit eternal life."

Abraham was told in Genesis 12:1-3 - "Go forth from your country, and from your relatives, and from your father's house, to the land which I will show you. And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing." What if Abraham had not obeyed God by leaving his country and his people?

Nugget of Gold: God always requires separation from all that is in and of the world, including our loved ones. This separation, or "coming out", is most often in our hearts alone, but sometimes more will be required of us. God will have no other gods/idols before Him. Thus, we are required to place children, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, etc., on the altar. We are required to leave all to follow Him.

Have we become exiles from the world for His Kingdom?

ALERT!

This morning while in prayer, I felt that I heard the following: "Mushroom cloud"; "Battleship ready"; "Watch port side (left side)"; "Strait of Hormuz".

The Strait of Hormuz is the most strategic passage for oil tankers to deliver oil to the United States, Japan, and western Europe. A disruption in this flow would greatly increase the price of oil and would create a great hardship on this and other nations. As we know from recent history, the Persion Gulf area is one of the most volatile on the planet, and word about an impending attack would not be surprising.

My purpose for recording this is twofold:

1. Have a record of this word in writing, as only time will tell whether or not it is a true Word of the Lord.
2. Urge immediate prayer for this situation, and a continued watchfulness into the future.

Entering The Glory

In the Book of Exodus, God told Moses to consecrate the people and set a boundary around the mountain where He was about to meet with him. Then, Aaron and seventy of the elders of Israel were permitted to ascend to a certain place on that mountain, but Moses alone was able to enter the glory to see God face-to-face.

Exodus 24:1,2 - "Then He said to Moses, 'Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu and seventy of the elders of Israel, and you shall worship at a distance. Moses alone, however, shall come near to the Lord, but they shall not come near, nor shall the people come up with him.'"

Exodus 24:16,17 - "And the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai.... and to the eyes of the sons of Israel, the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the mountain top."

Psalm 24 gives us an understanding of why only Moses was able to approach God, and this example holds a vital truth for us today.

Psalm 24:3,4 - "Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord (His Glory)? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands (body) and a pure heart (spirit); who has not lifted up his SOUL to falsehood."

The Lord is holy, and His word is pure (Psalm 12:6). Only those who have been sanctified spirit, soul, and body may approach Him.

1 Thess.5:23 - "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29), and the fire of His jealous love consumes all that hinders our walk with Him (Song of Songs 8:6). Ask the Lord to examine your heart AND your soul (mind, will, emotions), to purify your motives, and to bring everything into alignment with His perfect will for your life. Then, we can pray with assurance that our heart is pure, and that we have not "lifted up our soul to falsehood." We will enter His glory realm and experience all that He has prepared for us!

Glory Deposits

I believe the Lord revealed that He has made "Glory Deposits" in the land. These deposits are both supernatural and literal. Much has been reported in recent months about gold "flecks" coming down from the heavens during times of intense praise and worship. Chuck Pierce prophesied during a recent conference that "God is looking for certain places to manifest His glory."

Scripture speaks much of the Gold of Ophir, a region from which both David and Solomon obtained gold for building the temple. It's exact location, however, is a mystery. I believe we have entered a time when the Lord is aligning the heavens with the earth in such a way that His "hidden treasures of darkness" will be released and manifested for His people. The land has always been part of our inheritance, and God is now positioning us and bringing His Bride into a right relationship with the earth.

Isa. 45:3 - "And I will give you the (hoarded) treasures of darkness, and hidden wealth of secret places..."

Manna and The Glory

While at a recent women's ministry meeting, I heard the Lord say "Coriander". I knew this was in reference to the supernatural provision of manna that the children of Israel were fed in the wilderness. The Glory of God was present in the meeting, and I felt led to "gather in" the provision the Lord had for me in that atmosphere of heaven. Several types of provision were called out and received by faith in those present, including the solution to difficult problems and a renewing of youth.

I hear the Lord say that there's grace to gather in this season, which will prepare us for the season (and decade) ahead! He first spoke this word to me on September 1, 2009, as we were about to enter the new year.

Deut.11:10-15 - "For the land into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came.... (it is) a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it.... He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your new wine and your oil."

On December 22, 2009, the Lord spoke that He was releasing a DOUBLE PORTION for the coming year. I now believe the Lord has revealed both the significance and the necessity of "gathering in" a double portion during this time, in preparation for the season and decade just ahead. The body of Christ will need to walk in the fullness of the anointing, gifts, provision, health, wisdom, etc., that is available to us.

Exodus 16:4,5 - "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day.... And it will come about on the sixth day.... it will be twice as much as they gather daily."
Exodus 16:29-31 - "See, the Lord has given you the sabbath; therefore He gives you bread for two days on the sixth day.... So the people rested on the seventh day. And the house of Israel named it manna, and it was like coriander seed, white; and its taste was like wafers with honey."

Nugget of Gold: I believe we are in a "sixth day" season, in which the Lord is extending grace to gather what is needed for the seventh day. This can only be accomplished by crossing over into the GLORY REALM of His supernatural provision. In the Glory is everything needed for life, health, and ministry. As those in the world become more and more anxious and dependent on government and the world system, the Lord is training His people to enter His Sabbath Rest. We are to walk with an expectation of miracles, signs, and wonders, supernatural answers to difficult problems, supernatural provision and protection. He wants us to be participants with Him as He unfolds His plan in the days and years ahead!

Phil.4:18,19 - "But I have received everything in full, and have an abundance.... And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory in Christ Jesus."

An Hour A Day

An hour a day keeps the devil away (at bay)!

The Lord quickened to me that we need to be committed to two types of daily prayer - worship and fellowship with Him, as well as one hour of "watchman duty". These are completely separate activities, and may occur at different times of the day. The four watches related in the Bible are: 6 p.m.-9 p.m.; 9 p.m.-midnight; midnight-3 a.m.; 3 a.m.-6 a.m.

Mark 13:35 - "Therefore, be on the alert, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening (first watch), at midnight (2nd watch), at cockcrowing (3rd watch), or in the morning (4th watch)."
Matt.24:42,43 - "But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into."

Jesus took His disciples with Him to pray the night of His arrest and ultimate crucifixion. He knew what was coming. However, He had to admonish His disciples for not watching and praying for at least one hour with Him. They, too, were about to be tested by the powers of darkness.

Matt.26:41 - "Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

Nugget of Gold: Watching for one hour in the Spirit builds up our spirit man, and it also gives the Holy Spirit an opportunity to warn us about planned attacks so that we can come against them in prayer (Matt.24:23 - "If he had known.... he would not have allowed.....").
The Lord has given His body the keys of the Kingdom (Matt.16:19) to bind (forbid) and to loose (permit). Let us be diligent to keep alert in prayer on a daily basis, especially during one of the night watches!

Polarization

I heard the Lord say, "Polarization", and then the following scripture:

Jer.24:1-10 - "The Lord showed me.... two baskets of figs set before the temple of the Lord. One basket had very good figs, like first-ripe figs; and the other basket had very bad figs, which could not be eaten due to rotteness."

The word "polarization" represents a division into two opposites, or a concentration about opposing extremes of groups or interests formerly ranged on a continuum (boundaries blurred).

I believe the Lord is indicating that we have come to the time when the boundary between darkness and the light will become visible. Those with divided hearts, who are serving two masters, will be exposed. Those who do not walk in love will increasingly walk in the flesh (devoid of the Spirit) and in darkness. However, those who walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, will be transformed into greater levels of His glory. Glory deposits will occur on a regular basis. We will be able to feel the weight of His glory and we will be drawn to others in whom the Spirit of God abides in great measure.

I believe we have entered into the beginning of the fulfillment of Isaiah 60:

Isa.60:1,2 - "Arise, shine; for your light has come. And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you."

Joy Comes In The Morning

I heard the Lord say, "Joy comes in the morning".

Psalm 30:5 - "For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning."

I believe the Lord is saying that it is now time for His joy to be poured out! This has to do with Times and Seasons of the Lord, and I feel the Lord is saying that this release of Joy is both a time and a season for His people. This coincides with the Feast of Pentecost, which we're now in, and which is a time for joy, happiness, celebration, and rejoicing over harvest!

Ecc.3:1,4 - "There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven - A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance."

Joy releases strength (Neh.8:9,10), and it clothes us with the same anointing that Jesus operated in during His time on the earth (Luke4:18). The anointing of the oil of gladness/joy (Isa.61) is the anointing that sets the captives free and allows His body to do the "greater works" that have been prophesied. Joy also releases blessings and provision in abundance!

Psa.126:5,6 - "Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him."

Nugget of Gold: It is time to remove our graveclothes, our garments of mourning. By faith, step into this time of Joy and reaping that the Lord has ordained. Receive strength from the Spirit of Might and go forth in power to fulfill your destiny!

The Stage Is Set

I heard the Lord say, "The stage is set." The literal meaning of this phrase is that all scenery and props are designed and arranged for a particular scene in a play. What I feel the Lord is saying is that He has prepared us and placed us in our proper positions for what He is about to unfold on the world stage. This moment in time has been preceeded by a call that has gone out to those with ears to hear, and there has been a "window of opportunity" to heed the Lord's call and respond accordingly. The Lord indicated that the Parable of the Marriage Feast is an illustration of the time we are now in.

Matt.22:1-14 - "And he sent out his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come..... Behold, I have prepared my dinner.... and everything is ready.... But they paid no attention and went their way, one to his own farm, another to his business..... There was a man not dressed in proper wedding clothes, and the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, and cast him into the outer darkness; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' For many are called, but few are chosen."

Nugget of Gold: If there remains an area of our lives in which we have not been quick to respond to the Lord's call, let us be quick to awaken and repent from our disobedience! May the Lord extend grace and mercy before the door is closed to us.

Weapons of our Warfare

I have always believed that the Blood of Jesus is one of the most powerful weapons we have against the powers of darkness. I apply the Blood regularly to myself, my family, my physical home, etc. I understand that as with the children of Israel in Egypt, the application of the Blood creates a legal barrier, over which the demonic cannot cross.

In a recent dream in which I was under attack by the powers of darkness, along with several other believers, the Lord prompted me to take out my oil and anoint each of us. This combination of both the Blood and the Oil proved to be a more powerful barrier against the attack.

1 John 5:8 - "For there are three that bear witness (on earth), the Spirit (oil) and the water and the blood, and the three are in agreement."

Luke 4:1 - "And Jesus (Blood), full of the Holy Spirit (Oil), returned from the Jordan and was led about by the Spirit in the wilderness, for 40 days being tempted by the devil."

Nugget of Gold: It is necessary that we be continually cleansed by the "washing of the water with the word" (Eph.5:26), but also apply the Blood and ask the Holy Spirit for a fresh filling and a fresh anointing daily! In this way we will walk in victory, protected from the powers of darkness who seek to "kill, steal, and destroy."

The Law and Order of Subjection

The Bible tells us that there's both an order and a law of subjection. All things are subjected to Jesus, and Jesus is subjected to the Father. The verb "subject" is defined as "bringing under control or dominion and being governed by the law of the one in authority."

1 Cor.15:24-28 - "Then comes the end, when He delivers up the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet..... For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. And when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, that God may be all in all."

Because "we do not yet see all things subjected to him" (Heb.2:7-8), our time on earth becomes an opportunity to bring the kingdom of the world (Satan's kingdom) into subjection to the kingdom of God within our sphere of authority. As we ourselves are submitted (to the Lord first; then, husbands to Christ, wives to husbands, children to parents, employees to employers, etc.), we have absolute dominion over the powers of darkness in our home, business, ministry, and all the territory the Lord has given into our hands. It is in this place of being under authority that we are able to proclaim, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven!" (Matt.6:10). We are able to confront the powers and principalities within our sphere of authority, enforce the laws of the Kindgom of God, and decree:

Rev.11:15 - "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever."
Rev.12:10 - "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come (to my home, to my family, to my business)!"

Nugget of Gold: We must learn to exercise our God-given authority over the powers of darkness in our homes, our families, our businesses, our ministries, and all territory that the Lord has given into our hands. Ask the Lord to clearly define your boundaries. Know your sphere of authority. Paul said in 2Cor.10:13, "But we will not boast beyond our measure, but within the measure of the sphere which God apportioned to us as a measure to reach even as far as you."

You have been given a "measure" of territory to bring into subjection to the rule of the King. Even now, you are being prepared to rule and reign with Jesus in His eternal Kingdom.

Prayer Effectiveness

The Lord is doing a new thing in this season with regard to prayer, especially corporate prayer. I see Him calling together teams of at least 3-4 people for specific prayer assignments and strategies. There is a fresh anointing for these types of God-initiated gatherings, with great authority and power being released in the spiritual realm. In the past, we've been able to identify God's "prayer warriors", and these individuals have carried great weight in the kingdom. However, I believe the Lord is now assembling His nameless and faceless "craftsmen to terrify the demonic horns of the nations" (see Zech.1:18-21).

I recently had a vision in which I saw a car full of people. The driver had started out for a particular destination, but somehow got off course and began wandering around. This carload of people ended up in an open field with two large intersecting runways. Suddenly, huge jet airplanes began taking off and landing right over the top of the car, narrowly missing it. The car scrambled to get out of the way as the jets continued their carefully orchestrated activity.

I believe the Lord was showing me a picture of the prayer activity that He has initiated in this hour. Both cars and airplanes can take us to a particular destination, but the latter is much faster and more powerful. A car is earthbound, while a jet soars in the heavenly places. The type and amount of fuel required is vastly different for both vehicles.

We've all been in prayer meetings where there were many words, but very little power. It's as though these prayers weren't "getting off the ground". This happens when we pray out of our minds and emotions (soul), letting our own experiences and feelings guide our words. However, a person can speak forth the Word, powered by the Holy Spirit, and suddenly the atmosphere changes. All present can sense that God has shot an arrow that has directly hit its mark, revealing His heart, His mind, and His strategy.

Jesus Himself only spoke what He heard the Father speaking. Following the Day of Pentecost, the apostles were all filled with the Holy Spirit, "and with great power were giving witness...." (Acts 4:33). Let us be diligent, therefore, to wait upon the Lord during times of prayer and speak forth what we hear the Father saying!

The Worker is Worthy of Support

For the past several weeks, the Lord has spoken very clearly about those who perform works of service in His Kingdom. The following word is especially true for those who work full time in ministry, whether as a prayer leader, intercessor, ministry leader or worker, pastor, etc.

It is a Kingdom principle, both in the Old and the New Testament, that the "laborer is worthy of his wages." Jesus Himself said in Matt.10:7-10, "And as you go, proclaim, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons; freely you received, freely give...Do not acquire gold or silver... or a beggar's bag for your journey... for the worker is worthy of his support."

1 Cor.9:7-14 - "Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat the fruit of it? The plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher to thresh in hope of sharing the crops. If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we should reap material things from you? So also, the Lord directed those who proclaim the gospel to get their living from the gospel."

There is a similar Kingdom principle noted in a previous post about the Levitical tithe. The Levites had no inheritance in the promised land. Instead, the Lord was their portion and their inheritance (Numbers 18:20-26). However, in return for their service, the other tribes were instructed to bring their tithe to the Levites in the temple. This was their means of support. Should we expect any less in the body of Christ today?

Many in the church have adopted the attitude that those in spiritual service should expect only a heavenly reward. However, scripture is clear that God highly esteems those who labor among us and that He has made material provision for them. This provision is not to come from the world, but from the body of Christ. May we be quick to give generously, as the Lord leads, and not ever allow His servants to go "begging for bread".

The Great Shaking

I believe the Lord quickened that the prophesies of both Haggai and Zechariah hold keys to what He is doing in the season we have now entered. The word of the Lord came to both prophets in the second year of Darius the king - Haggai in the sixth and ninth months, and Zechariah in the eighth and eleventh months (Zech., chapters 1-6).

The Lord has brought a remnant out of Egypt/Babylon (i.e., the world system). Some of His people have actually been called out of the corporate world, but all of the remnant have allowed the Holy Spirit to do a work of separation in their hearts. This group of believers has heard the Lord's admonition to set their hearts on God's business and put their hands to the work He has mandated for this hour (Haggai 1). The Lord has stretched a measuring line over that which He is building in order to separate the holy from the profane.

Zech.1:16; 2:1&2 - "Therefore, thus says the Lord, I will return to Jerusalem with compassion; My house will be built in it....and a measuring line will be stretched over Jerusalem. Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man with a measuring line in his hand."
Haggai 2:12,13; Ezek.44:23 - "Moreover, they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean."
Rev.11:1,2 - "Rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it. And leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations, and they will tread under foot the holy city...."

When we are in this place of separation, in which the work of our hands is "holy to the Lord", then we will see God "shake the heavens and the earth, overthrow the thrones of kingdoms, and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations." (Hag.2:21,22) This will bring about the transfer of wealth that we've been eagerly anticipating! Notice, though, that the Lord is releasing His hidden treasures and the great wealth held by Satan's kingdom to His temple and to those who dwell in it. Many in the body of Christ remain in the "outer court" and have not allowed the Lord to "stir up their spirit", nor have they put their hands to that which He is building.

Hag.2:7-9 - "And I will shake all the nations, and they will come with the wealth of all nations; and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts. The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, declares the Lord of hosts. The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former...."

Nugget of Gold: The Lord has declared an end to drought in the lives of His children who are living in total obedience to His voice in this day. He is causing a separation to come between those who truly serve Him and those who don't (Mal.3:18). To the former, He is declaring that we are now in a time of Blessing such as we have not seen before. All the seed that has not born fruit in our lives will now come forth abundantly! (Hag.2:19) Wealth will come as His glory is seen upon us. This beautification of His remnant will give the Father the Glory that is due Him.

Oh, what a Planner! Oh, what a plan! Let us be quick to put our hands to the work of the Kingdom and watch as the Lord unveils His mysteries in these last days.

Individual Ministry

The goal of ministry to an individual is to effect change in the seeker's life. When scripture is merely read or shared, or when examples are given from one's own life, the result is ministry to the soulish area (mind, will, emotions). However, when the Word of God is delivered as that which is "living, and active, and sharper than a two-edged sword" (Hebrews 4:12), or as "a hammer that shatters the rock" (Jer.23:29), or as "fire that consumes" (Jer.5:14), then change comes to the spirit of man, with eternal results!

1 Cor.4:20 - "For the Kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power."
1 Cor.2:4 - "And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power."
Rom.15:18,19 - "For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me.... in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit....."

Nugget of Gold: It's not our words that effect change, but the Word of God. When a child of God speaks the Word under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, things happen in the realm of the spirit. Evidence of this can be seen in the natural in the form of changed countenances, changed lives, and victorious living. The Lord has promised that in these last days, signs and wonders will also be seen as confirmation of the Word. So, let us speak boldly, with reliance upon the Lord, who will bear witness to the Word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by our hands!

Crossing Over

April is traditionally the month of "crossing over" in the Spirit. This year, I believe the Lord has spoken that those in the Body of Christ who He has prepared will be crossing over into the Glory Realm. Those who have been qualified by the Holy Spirit have passed the tests of faith He's brought into our lives in recent months and even years.

Following are some of the things I feel He's spoken about the place into which we're crossing:

This will be a new place of service in His Kingdom
We are entering into a higher level of operating in the Spirit, including the gifts and callings of God
The five-fold ministry of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher will be in the forefront
This will be a time of intense training and new equipping for the coming times of war.
We are to have an expectation of provision and wealth, including the prophesied transfer of wealth.
We are to have an expectation of miracles, signs and wonders.
The promises in Exodus 23:20-33 apply to this time: The angel of the Lord is leading us to our new place. God Himself will be an enemy to our enemies as we serve Him. He will bless our provision and remove sickness from our midst. He will fix our new boundaries.

Nugget of Gold: Let us come before Him with a pure heart, having been washed in the Blood of the Lamb. May our eyes be fixed on the Captain of the Hosts of the Lord as He takes us to a place where we've not been before.

Kingdom Principles

Colossians 1:13 - "For He delivered us from the domain (authority) of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son."

The Kingdom of God operates according to a different set of laws than does the kingdom of this world and the world system. In fact, they are polar opposites to one another. The Lord is quickening His people to be Kingdom minded - to make a paradigm shift into thinking and operating in the spiritual principles that govern His Kingdom.

Here are a few of the "ways of the Lord" that I feel He is particularly emphasizing in this season:

Supernatural Provision: The Book of Exodus tells us that when the Lord brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, He provided supernaturally for their needs. Manna from heaven came as food, water flowed from the rock that was following them (which was Jesus), and the Lord led them by a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. Then, forty years later, Joshua led the nation of Israel into the promised land. There, the Lord provided "cities which they had not built, and vineyards and olive groves which they did not plant" (Josh.24:13). When we are in the place that God Himself has appointed for us (church, job, ministry, home, etc.), He will supernaturally provide the material things we have need of! Regardless of whether or not we have a job in the world system, we are no longer to toil under the heavy burden of the taskmasters (Exodus 5:6-11). Instead, we are to look to the hand of the Lord to move on our behalf in our natural circumstances!
Giving and Receiving: There's a promise for those who have a lifestyle of giving as the Lord leads (above the tithe, which is expected). Phil.4:15;19 tells us, "No church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you alone... And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Note that this Kingdom principle applies only to the givers. Do you have need of supply? If you give, expect to receive "abundantly beyond all that you could ask or think"!
Levitical Tithe: There is a Kingdom principle that applies to those who are called into full time ministry in the body of Christ (in addition to the pastors). These could be missionaries or others who serve in a variety of ways. In recent months, there seems to be an acceleration in the number of Christians who are being called out of the world system to perform works of service in the Kingdom. The Lord calls these "Levites", and His provision can be seen in the Book of Numbers. Num.18:20&21;24-26: "You shall have no inheritance in their land... I am your portion and your inheritance... And to the sons of Levi, behold I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance in return for their service which they perform." So, we see that provision/support is to come from those in the body of Christ who the Lord prompts to give a monthly gift on behalf of those who labor among us.

Nugget of Gold: At the same time that the citizens of this nation are looking more and more to the government for provision and help, the Lord is requiring His people to look only to Him. This world system is under judgment, and the Lord is calling His people to "Come out of her, my people, that you may not participate in her sins and that you may not receive of her plagues." (Rev.18:4) This work of the Holy Spirit is accomplished first in our hearts, and then in obedience to whatever the Lord requires of us.

Signs and Wonders

I believe the Holy Spirit is telling us that we are in the season of increased miracles, signs, and wonders. Many in the body of Christ have awaited this day with great anticipation and with the expectation of being mightily used by the Lord in these last days. However, we may have missed one of the chief ways God has been preparing us for useful service with His demonstrations of power.

1 Kings 17:24 - "Then the woman said to Elijah, 'Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.'"

How did the widow know that God's word through Elijah was true? It was because he had just raised her son from the dead! This miracle followed another miracle in which "the bowl of flour was not exhausted, nor did the jar of oil become empty, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke through Elijah." (1 Kings 17:16)

So we see that two mighty miracles were preceded by the spoken Word of a man of God. Elijah, a prophet, but also "a man with a nature like ours" (James 5:17), was accustomed to speaking the word of the Lord with boldness and confidence. He had a history with God of hearing God speak, and then delivering the Word to the intended audience. The miracles that followed were a sign that God's word in Elijah's mouth was true!

Since the Bible tells us that the "spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus" (Rev.19:10), we know that each born again believer has the ability to speak forth God's word. The Great Commission assures us that as believers go forth, certain signs will accompany those who have believed:

Mark 16:17,18 - "And these signs will accompany those who have believed; in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues....they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

Nugget of Gold: The Lord is first training us to boldly speak the things that we hear Him say to those we're ministering to. The operation of the gifts of healings, miracles, tongues, prophecy, etc., are for a sign. He faithfully watches over His word to perform it. Our part is to boldly proclaim the Word, as the Holy Spirit leads. When we are faithful to do this, He will be faithful to perform His word.

Acts 14:3 - "Therefore, they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting that signs & wonders be done by their hands."

Entanglements of Everyday Life

2 Timothy 2:4 - "No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier."

We tend to get "bogged down" in our physical lives here on earth - as parent, employee, ministry and church work, friendships, etc. We can easily find ourselves so caught up in our everyday responsibilities, in news reports, demands of children and family, and demands of our jobs (either in or outside of the home), that days, weeks, or even months can go by without really connecting with the Lord and with what He might be speaking to us.

The word "entangle" means to "make complicated or confused; to get wrapped up in, or twisted together." Does this sound familiar?

Nugget of Gold: Intentionally set your mind on "things above", not things on this earth. Though we must go about our daily tasks, let us practice listening to what the Lord would speak to us in and through our daily lives. Let Him impart His vision and high calling to our spirit man so that we may know the plans and destiny He has for each one of us.

Commands of Our Captain

We are in a time of war. Yes, war is in the gates, and the Lord is issuing His commands to the body of Christ.

First and foremost, I hear Him saying over and over, "Awaken......Arise!"
Eph.5:14 - "Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
Judges 5:12 - "Awake, awake, Deborah; Awake, awake, sing a song! Arise, Barak, and take away your captives...."

There are many in the church who are slumbering. Just as in the days of Noah, most are going about "business as usual", not discerning the movements of the enemy and the banner that the Lord is raising in this hour. Like the sleeping virgins (Matt.25), these will not be aware of their visitation until it is too late. But for those with ears to hear, the Captain of the Hosts is issuing commands to His warrior bride.

Jesus is extending His scepter and commanding us to "rule in the midst of Thine enemies". (Psa.110:2)
He is calling the Deborahs to arise and take their rightful place at the gates. There they will receive God's strategies for war and will empower the Baraks to go with them into the battle. There is a particular and powerful anointing that the Lord is now pouring out on His company of "Deborahs". They may have husbands, as Deborah did (Judges 4:4), but they will occupy a unique place in the Body of Christ. They will arise as "mothers" and will understand times and seasons, as did the Sons of Issachar.
On December 31st, I heard the Lord say, "STRETCH". I believe this pertains to our inheritance, over which the Lord is stretching a measuring line. We have come out of the wilderness and, after a time of consecration, have entered the promised land of our inheritance. However, there are giants in the land!
ADVANCE! This was the next command I heard from the Lord on January 28th. Advance means to "move forward; accelerate progress; stresses effective assisting in hastening a process or bringing about a desired end." I believe the Lord is commanding us to move in the direction that He's revealed to us, knowing that He goes before His people to secure the victory.
ACTIVATE! At the first of March, the Lord clearly spoke that we are to operate according to the higher laws of the Kingdom of God. This requires a paradigm shift in our thinking. So, instead of looking for ways to toil and work for the taskmasters to get out of debt, etc., we are to activate the Kingdom law that says, "The Lord will provide. In the mount of the Lord, it will be provided!" (Gen.22:14). "Give, and it will be given to you....." (Luke 6:38). Instead of accepting the natural law of degeneration of our physical bodies, we are to activate the LAW OF REGENERATION, according to Titus 3:5. When sickness or death is working in our bodies, we are to activate the LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE, which will always triumph over the Law of Sin and Death (Romans 8:2)!

Nugget of Gold: The Lord is doing a new thing in the earth, and we must be aware of it. Chuck Pierce, prophet to the Body of Christ, proclaims that we have entered a new 7-year period of war. But, it's a different war from that which we've known in the past. The Lord has new strategies and new weapons. He has a fresh anointing. The old ways and anointings won't bring the victory in this season. So, let us awaken and be alert. Let us be quick to obey the Captain of the Hosts and assume our proper position in His army. For our battle is not with flesh and blood, but with "the rulers, the powers, the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Eph.6:12)

Extreme Weather

Matt.16:2,3 - "But He answered and said the them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.' And in the morning, 'There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?"

The Lord is speaking to His church through nature and recent weather events, and we need to both understand and heed the signs.

On September 7th of last year, I had a dream in which I was traveling to be with my family. When I arrived, the weather was calm and peaceful. However, when I left a few hours later, I found that it had snowed so much that everything was literally buried in the snow, with snow drifts so deep that you could easily drive into them and be lost. It was treacherous. I then got into a small boat to cross a body of water. The seas, which had been calm, were now churning with huge waves and a great storm over the waters.

The Lord reminded me of the above dream/night vision, which takes on new significance in light of the recent record-breaking snow this country has seen in various states. He prompted me to review a more recent night vision, in which I saw approaching storm clouds. I remarked that the conditions looked ripe for a tornado to form. Others in the house scoffed at my observation. Suddenly, a huge tornado formed and headed directly for us. I tried to get the people in the house to the basement where I knew we would be safe, but they were mesmerized by the sight of the tornado and couldn't seem to move. I thought we would be hit, but the tornado turned away from its path at the last minute and we were spared. I declared that God had given us a warning that we would have to heed the next time.

The Lord quickened to me that we tend to "spiritualize" many of the things that He shows us, and so we are not prepared for very real circumstances that can come into our lives. However, we have entered a time of increased "birth pangs" in which natural events are increasing in frequency and intensity as the time grows near.

The Lord warns His people in dreams and visions, through His prophets, and in a still, small voice. I believe we will see the following natural calamities in our nation this year:

One or more major hurricanes that will strike our U.S. coast(s), with devastating results.
Tornadoes in diverse places that will cause greater destruction (and possible loss of life) than ever seen before.

Nugget of Gold: The Lord has a place of safety for His people (as depicted by the basement), but we have to heed His warnings. I believe the Lord is calling His people into a heightened state of watchful prayer and alertness, and He has planted us in His body, the church, to be in close fellowship with one another.

1 Thess.5:6 - "So then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober."

Manifestation of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the manifestation of the Godhead on the earth today. He both discloses what the Father and Jesus are saying and doing, and He implements or manifests those things in this physical realm.

Webster's Dictionary defines manifestation as "that which can be outwardly perceived by the senses, especially sight; also, materialization, or the assuming of physical/bodily form."

Thus, we see the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove at the baptism of Jesus (Matt.3:16); tongues of fire on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:3); a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire in the wilderness (Exodus 13:21). He was also with God at the creation, manifesting that which was spoken by the Father.

Gen.1:1-3 - "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, 'Let there be light'; and there was light."

Prov.8:22-31 - "The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old. From everlasting I was established, from the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth. When there were no springs abounding with water.... Then I was beside Him, as a master workman....."

Nugget of Gold: The Lord is calling His church to walk in a much higher level of awareness, understanding, and cooperation with the Holy Spirit. We are to actively engage the Holy Spirit in everything we do for the Kingdom, expecting to see and experience His manifestation in our presence. Just as in Genesis, He is still creating that which is spoken in Heaven by the Father. That which is spoken by the Father will be disclosed (revealed) by Jesus and then manifested upon the earth by the power of the Holy Spirit, as we walk in proper alignment with the Lord.

1 Cor.2:4,5 - "And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God."
1 Cor.12:7 - "But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."

These are the days of miracles, signs and wonders. It is the activity of the Holy Spirit that produces such demonstrations of power in our midst, so let us be quick to acknowledge Him, thank Him, depend completely on His presence, and walk in constant fellowship with the Spirit of the Living God.

It Will Be Given!

As I was talking to the Lord today about provision, I began to seek Him regarding the activities and work He would have me put my hands to. I was looking for the ways that He would have me go out and get the money that is needed. Suddenly, these declarations rose up in my spirit, and I began to proclaim them:

IT WILL BE GIVEN;
IT WILL BE PROVIDED;
IT WILL BE SENT;
IT WILL COME TO ME!

Luke 6:38 - "Give and it will be given to you....."
Gen.22:14 - "In the mount of the Lord, it will be provided."
Joel 2:19 - "Behold, I am going to send you grain, new wine and oil, and you will be satisfied in full with them."
Isa.60:5 - "The wealth of the nations will come to you."

The Lord began to show me that we are in a new paradigm (pattern) of His provision for those who are walking in obedience and in covenant with Him. He has brought us out of Egypt and we have entered into the inheritance He has for us, into a land "flowing with milk and honey".

Deut.11:10 - "For the land into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you used to sow your seed and water it with your foot... "

We are to walk in the "Blessings of Abraham", which include His favor and goodness, life, health, fruitfulness, riches, and plenty.

Deut.6:10-12 - "Then it shall come about when the Lord your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you great and splendid cities which you did not build, and houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and hewn cisterns which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you shall eat and be satisfied..... "

Nugget of Gold: We are no longer in "the house of slavery" in Egypt where we are subject to hard toil and labor at the hands of the taskmasters (Satan and the world system) in order to earn a living and provide for our needs. The Lord has brought His church into a place of freedom and blessings, but it requires a completely different mind set in order to receive all that He has for us in this season. May our minds be renewed to the new thing that God is doing in our midst!

The Father's Blessing

The Lord is calling forth a generation of "fathers" in this season, mature believers who have His heart for the two generations that follow. For those who answer this forerunner mandate, He will release the spirit and the power of the prophet Elijah.

Luke 1:17 - "And it is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

I believe we are living in the days that will see the return of Christ to the earth. There are always at least three generations alive at one time (sometimes a fourth will overlap these for a short time). God reveals Himself as the "God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob" (three generations). The blessing is given by the fathers to release both the plan of God and His covenant provision to the subsequent generations.

Genesis 48:9 - "And Joseph said to his father, 'They are my sons, whom God has given me here.' So Jacob said, 'Bring them to me, please, that I may bless them.'"

Genesis 49:1 - "Then Jacob summoned his sons and said, 'Assemble yourselves that I may tell you what shall befall you in the days to come.'"

We see Jesus Himself, who was a Son, releasing His Father's blessing to the children:

Mark 10:13-16 - "And they were bringing children to Him so that He might touch them ..... And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands upon them."

Nugget of Gold: These are the "days of Elijah", the days of the forerunner generation. God sees "fathers", "young men", and "children", according to 1John 2:13,14, regardless of gender or age. It is the fathers who will be anointed with the "mantle of Elijah" to prophesy to the young men and children, with power and signs following, in order to prepare the Body of Christ for the soon return of the Lord.

Even so, come Lord Jesus!

Life and Health

3 John 1:2 - "Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers."

I believe the Lord is releasing abundant grace this year and this decade to heal and restore life, not only to the body of Christ, but also to a fallen world. He is releasing knowledge and wisdom for new cures. He is also bringing a fresh revelation of His ways and the spiritual principles that will bring health and healing to our bodies, when applied by faith.

REGENERATION: While praying last October about a constantly aching knee, I heard the Lord say, "regeneration". Vines Bible Dictionary defines this word as "new birth; bringing about new life by the operation of the Word of Truth and the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:5,6 - "He saved us, not on the basis of deeds, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit." The Lord was revealing an effective way to pray for bodies and body parts that were in need of new life: arthritic hands, feet, joints, etc., as well as other degenerative effects of living in our natural bodies.
STASIS/HOMEOSTASIS: As I was asking the Lord about a general feeling of being tense and not at peace, I heard Him say "stasis", and then, "homeostasis". I had to look these words up, and found the following: Stasis indicates a slowing or stoppage of the normal flow of a bodily fluid, or the slowing of the current of circulating blood. Homeostasis indicates a return to a stable state. Here's what the Lord quickened me to pray: "I command my body's electrical, magnetic, and chemical systems to come into alignment with the Word of God. I command my blood to flow without obstruction throughout my body, in accordance with God's perfect design."
Bless the Lord, O my SOUL: The Holy Spirit quickened to me that I needed to repent of "not judging my body rightly" (1 Cor.11:29). I was guilty of judging something that He was not judging. Once I repented, I then commanded my SOUL (mind, will, emotions) to Bless the Lord and proclaim all of His benefits!

Psa.103:1-5 - "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.....And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit; Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compasion; Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle...."

Nugget of Gold: The Lord is revealing the way to prosper in matters of life and health. There will come a time when we will not be able to rely on the current medical system, and He is extending grace to "wean" ourselves off of our extreme dependence on a world that is increasingly coming under His judgement. May we heed His voice in this hour and walk in the truth of His Word!

Be Ready

The Lord is both exhorting and warning His people to "Be Ready" in this new year. Being in a state of readiness implies both mental and physical preparedness for some experience or action.

Matt.24:42-51 - "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. For this reason you be ready too; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will....... Blessed is that servant whom his master finds so doing when he comes."

Of course, the above is referring to the Second Coming of Christ, but it also has application on another level. What are the times and seasons that the Lord has revealed for 2010? Has the Holy Spirit impressed on you that you will see a particular event, relationship, ministry, etc., come into your life this year? If so, what are you doing to be ready for it?

Nugget of Gold: I believe the Lord desires to give us specific "action items" in order to prepare for what's coming into our lives - both personally and corporately. Just as Esther had 12 months of preparation with oils, spices, and cosmetics, so too are we being shown the particular ways in which the Holy Spirit will make us ready for the blessings and favor He has appointed for His bride this year. However, we must be quick to obey and diligent to do those things He reveals to us. Then, when He comes, those who are ready will enter in to the promise; but to those who have not prepared, the door will be closed and the opportunity lost. (Matt.25:10).

Rich Toward God

Luke 12:15-21 - "Beware and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.... So is the man who lays up treasure for himself (on earth), and is not rich toward God."

At the outset of this new year, the Lord seems to be talking a great deal about true riches and wealth. He's certainly not opposed to Christians having money; in fact, He loves to bless His children. It was said of Abraham that the Lord greatly blessed him, "so that he became rich and was given flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and servants and maids, and camels and donkeys." (Gen.24:35) Isaac "became rich, and continued to grow richer until he became very wealthy." (Gen.26:13) The Lord "restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased all that Job had twofold." (Job 42:10)

Scripture tells us that the prerequisite for being entrusted with "true riches", though, is faithfulness with money usage:
Luke 16:11 - "If therefore you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous mammon, who will entrust the true riches to you?"

Faithful use of mammon includes tithing (ten percent), generous giving above the tithe, and Godly stewardship of the money entrusted to us. For those who argue that the tithe is a product of the Law, and therefore, the Old Covenant, I would point out that the New Testament actually establishes sacrificial giving and being totally sold out as the new requirement. We see this in Jesus's words about the widow's mite (Mark12:41-44), the parable about the rich young ruler (Matt.19:21), and the Book of Acts.

Acts 4:34,35 - "For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales, and lay them at the apostles' feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need."

Nugget of Gold: I believe the Lord wants to bless His people with increased wealth this year. However, He is looking for people who are rich toward God. Are we in that number? We can answer "yes" if we are growing in our relationship and knowledge of Him. We can answer "yes" if we are diligently pursuing love, "yet earnestly desiring spiritual gifts" (1Cor.14:1); if we are "disciplining ourselves for the purpose of godliness" (1Tim.4:7,8); if we are pursuing God's wisdom, which is more profitable than silver, gold, or precious jewels (Prov.3:13-16).

May our testimony be that we are rich in the things of the Spirit, with an abundance to give to the work of the Kingdom in this hour!

Return On Investment

In December of 2006, while praying with a ministry team, the following vision was reported:
A chalkboard with a completely clean slate was seen, when suddenly, a hand came down and wrote a formula: D = 32. We were made to know that this was a new formula that nobody knew. Then, the scene shifted to an office building with a statue of a huge bronze bull out front. We knew this was the icon of a company. I walked up to the statue and pushed it over.

Of course, since this vision, we have seen the "crash" of Wall Street and the downfall of many business icons formerly on the world scene (especially here in America). Can anyone doubt that the "hand of God" has orchestrated the events of the past year? Thirty-two is the number for "covenant". I don't yet have revelation on the letter "D" (perhaps "decade"?). However, I believe the Lord is instructing His church in the matter of "the power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant with us." (Deut.8:18)

Many Christians have been wise in the ways of the world and the world system, but either ignorant or foolish in the ways of the Kingdom. God's people are going to and fro, seeking the best "return on investment" and wondering how to keep their money safe. Most realize that things have irrevocably changed and that the old "status quo" will never come again. I believe we have entered a decade when the Church can no longer profit according to the wisdom of the world, but will have to employ God's principles in order to prosper and even survive in the coming months and years.

Following are three principles in God's economy

1. Giving and receiving a return: As discussed in a previous post, the practice of cheerful giving is fundamental to the Christian walk. Luke6:38 - "Give and it will be given to you....For by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you in return."

2. The principle of "Two": There is great multiplication of effect (return) when two or more people are walking together and praying in agreement.

Ecc.4:9 - "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor."

Deut.32:30 - "How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight...."

3. Principle of the Talents: In the parable of "The Talents" (Matt.25:14-), the Lord admonishes the slave who hid his talent instead of going out and doubling His investment. In fact, that slave lost what he had and was cast "into the outer darkness".

What is the "talent"? I believe the Lord revealed that the talent represents His Word.

Matt.25:26 - "You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed."

Luke8:11; 18 - "The seed is the word of God." "Therefore, take care how you listen, for whoever has, to him shall more be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him."

John 17:8 - "For the words which Thou gavest Me, I have given to them; and they received them...."

Nugget of Gold: What have we done with the Word of God that has been revealed to us over the months and years? Have we received the Word implanted into our hearts, allowing it to change and sanctify us? How faithful have we been to share those things that the Lord has revealed to us with others, regardless of our ministry platform? Those who have been faithful with the Word have seen a steady increase in authority and responsibility in the Kingdom. The Lord has regularly said to these, "Well done, good and faithful slave; you were faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things...." (Matt.25:23)

It is these believers for whom the Lord has prepared "things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man....." (1Cor.2:9) for this year and this decade!

Joseph Company Revelations

Much has been said over the past few years about the "Joseph Company" that the Lord has hidden for these last days. I believe that just as the Lord brought the children of Israel out of their wilderness of testing after 40 years, and just as He has brought the church out of our wilderness, so is the Lord releasing His Joseph Company from their confinement.

Psa.105:17-21 - "He sent a man before them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave. They afflicted his feet with fetters. He himself was laid in irons; until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. The king sent and released him, the ruler of peoples, and set him free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions."

I heard the Lord say "storehouse", and I knew that He was speaking about His "Josephs". These are the believers who have been filled with the Word for many years in preparation for feeding His people during the times of famine - both natural and spiritual famine.

Amos 8:11,12 - "Behold, days are coming....when I will send a famine on the land. Not a famine for bread....but rather for hearing the words of the Lord. And people will stagger from sea to sea....they will go to and fro to seek the word of the Lord..."

We'll recognize the "Josephs", because these are the ones who are already "feeding His sheep" (John 21:15-17). They may be teachers, pastors, evangelists, etc., but they have developed a lifestyle of sharing the word and of living, "not by bread alone, but by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord." (Deut.8:3) They have been tested by the Word over many years, and they have been found worthy. The light of God's Glory can been seen on them as it draws people to them. Just as the rest of the known world came to Joseph during the famine, giving him (Pharaoh) all their money, livestock, and land in exchange for food (Gen.47), I believe that we will soon see the fulfillment of Isaiah 60:

Isa.60:3;5 - "And nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.... Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and rejoice; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you."

Nugget of Gold: Could this be the beginning of the great transfer of wealth that has been prophesied? I believe that the Joseph Company will be used by God to provide both spiritual and natural sustenance in the days ahead.

It's Time To Make A Withdrawal

What I'm about to share has nothing to do with tithing, but it has everything to do with our established lifestyle of giving above and beyond the tithe (Malachi 3:8-12).

Are you a cheerful giver? Has the Holy Spirit moved on your heart more than once over the past months and years to give a "bountiful gift" (2Cor.9:5-7)? If so, the Lord wants to tell you that you have a bank account in Heaven that remains untouched by recession, depression, bad investments, or theft, and that it has been accruing interest all this time.

Phil.4:17 - "Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account."

Matt.6:19,20 - "Do not lay up for yourself treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where theives break in and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where theives do not break in or steal..."

Nugget of Gold: I believe the Lord is saying to His church that NOW is the time to begin making "withdrawals" from our heavenly bank accounts. The money needed for Kingdom work, as well as provision for basic needs, is available to us by faith!
The spiritual principle is found in Luke 6:38:
"Give and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return."

The word "give" means "to make a present of; donate". Note that this is not the same as compensation or earnings from work or a task performed (regardless of how much the Lord has blessed the work of your hands). Thus, as you have given to others, the Lord will now cause others to give to you.

I believe that we have entered the time when "the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you." (Isa.60:5)

Prayer: Lord, I now make a withdrawal from my heavenly bank account. I ask that $_____ be released to me now! Thank you, my King.

Time Travel

For the past three years the Lord has been speaking to me quite a bit about "Time". He has revealed some things that have recently been confirmed by Quantum Physics, and this revelation has everything to do with answered prayer. In fact, the Lord would have us actually create our own world/reality by the words that we speak, just as He did. We're already doing this, whether we know it or not, and we have been living with the results (Gal.6:7 - "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.").

God is creative, and He is giving us an opportunity to create a new reality for our lives in 2010.

Isa.48:6,7 - "I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things which you have not known. They are created now and not long ago; and before today you have not heard them, lest you should say, 'Behold, I knew them.'"

Following are several revelations about "Time" and how they are to be applied:

In July of 2008, I believe the Lord showed me that time is not a continuum, consisting of minutes, hours, and days, one following the other (think horizontal line). Instead, it's vertical, like an upright tunnel or cylinder. If time were a man standing upright, his feet would be the past, his mid-section would be the present, and his head and shoulders would be the future. Thus, all would exist simultaneously! In fact, Jesus Christ is the Man, and scripture tells us that:

Rev.1:8 - "I am the Alpha and the Omega, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

Heb.13:8 - "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes, and forever."

Albert Einstein: "Time.....does not flow in only one direction, and the future exists simultaneous with the past."

Nugget of Gold: When we pray in faith according to that which the Lord has put in our heart, He has already answered our prayer! Thus, we now have a better understanding of the principle Jesus speaks of in Mark 11:24 when seen from the new "time" perspective.

Mark 11:24 - "All things for which you pray and ask (Present), believe that you have received them (Past), and they shall be (Future) granted to you."

Ecc.3:15 - "That which is (Present) has been already (Past), and that which will be (Future) has already been, for God seeks what has passed by."

Now for the revelation concerning the Fifth Dimension. Last October, I heard the Lord say the words, "Fifth Dimension". I know nothing about science, so I had to do research to find that a "dimension" is one of 3 coordinates determining a position in space, or 4 coordinates determining a position in space and time. "Space" consists of length, breadth and height. We live in a three dimensional world that can be seen with the natural eyes and touched. With "time" added as the fourth known dimension (although recent science postulates that there are up to 11 dimensions), I began to seek the Lord about this Fifth Dimension.

Nugget of Gold: I believe the Lord has revealed that the Fifth Dimension is a "parallel space" where answered prayer exists before it enters into our 4 dimensions of time and space. As I was pondering what it takes to bring these answered prayers into manifestation, I felt the Lord said "Words of Faith". According to Heb.11:1, faith is a substance. A substance is "a physical material from which something is made". Though the Lord spoke only once for each thing created, we must consistently speak faith-filled words until we see the manifestation!

Heb.11:3 - "By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible."

May we be diligent to create the "personal world" we truly want in 2010, according to the plan and design of Almighty God, Creator of the Universe and all it contains!

Extraordinary Gifts in 2010

As stated previously, this is a year that the Lord is giving His bride extraordinary gifts and giftings. Webster's dictionary defines "extraordinary" as something beyond the usual, regular, or customary. The Lord gave me a dream to illustrate this work of His Spirit during the season we're in:

In the dream, I had just become engaged, and my ring had two very large diamonds instead of the customary single setting with one large stone (and sometimes several smaller stones surrounding it). I was with a group of people in a fellowship setting, and many were admiring my "gift".

It was said of Daniel that "extraordinary wisdom was found in him."
Dan.5:12 - "This was because an extraordinary spirit, knowledge and insight, interpretation of dreams, explanation of enigmas, and solving of difficult problems were found in this Daniel."

Nugget of Gold: Ask the Lord to reveal the "extraordinary gift" He has for you in this season. Know that He has already determined it and only wants you to believe to receive it. It may be something that you have previously prayed for and received in a measure. However, this is a year that our Bridegroom is now doing "exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think." (Eph.3:20)

Receive by faith!

Times and Seasons in 2010

The Lord wants us to discern the signs of the times and to know what season we're in, both individually, and as part of the body of Christ. We're called to be "sons of Issachar" - men (and women) who "understand the times, with knowledge of what to do". (1 Chron.12:32)

The Lord quickened to me to look at the difference between a "time" and a "season". I found that "time" is defined as an appointed, fixed moment or hour for something to happen, begin, or end. A "season" is an indefinite period of time, or a period marked by a special or particular activity (such as football season). Thus, "time" is specific and more immediate, while a season is more general. I believe the Lord is saying that we are to know both as we begin the new year.

Though God has shown several specific times and seasons for me personally, following are some of the things I feel He has revealed for the body of Christ in 2010:

TIMES:

"A time to embrace." (Ecc.3:5): I believe the Lord will be bringing special relationships into the lives of His people and that He will knit our hearts together with them in a powerful way. The application may be in ministry, business, marriage, etc., but look for new relationships in 2010.
A time to come out of the wilderness and enter our inheritance: There will be a specific time that the Lord brings an end to something that we have been doing in order to begin a new work. Again, the application may be for ministry, a new job or business opportunity, etc. Whatever form it takes, we will know without a doubt that the Lord has birthed it. "Whatever is born of God overcomes the world....." (1John 5:3), and this is what He will bless and prosper in the new year.
Appointed times of Judgement: This year will see increased clashes between the works of darkness and the activities of the Kingdom of God. The Lord has both empowered and mandated that we "execute the judgments written" on the powers and principalities. (Psa.149:6-9)

SEASON:

Changing of the Guard/New Fathers: I believe that just as Moses died, making way for Joshua, and just as a whole generation fell in the wilderness before their children could enter the promised land (Josh.5:6,7), so is the body of Christ entering a new season of generational blessings. THIS IS NOT A MATTER OF AGE, BUT RATHER OF MATURITY! We will always have children, young men, and fathers (1John2:13,14) existing simultaneously as we occupy our inheritance. However, only the fathers will receive the Key of David, along with a new mantle and increased authority! (Isa.22:20-24)
Growing season: As previously stated, the Lord will greatly favor and bless those things that He has begotten. This year will see a rapid growth and acceleration, as well as provision and anointing, upon ministries, businesses, creative ideas, etc., that He birthed.
Expanded Boundaries: The Lord is stretching and expanding our territory in 2010. Look for opportunities to fulfill a larger function in both the church and the marketplace, along with increased responsibilities and authority. For some, this may involve a move or a chance to travel. This will get us out of our comfort zone, but know that the Lord has prepared us and has released His grace.
Angelic visitations: I believe we will see increased angelic visitations as the Lord sends forth His ministers to the heirs of salvation.
Regeneration and Renewal: The Lord revealed that He will be doing a creative work this year with regard to replacing, renewing, and restoring bodies and body parts.
Spiritual Gifts: As our intimacy with the Lord grows this year, He will release extraordinary giftings to His bride. There is a mandate to dedicate all gifts as "holy to the Lord" (Zech.14:20). This is a year that "a man's gift will make room for him, and bring him before great men." (Proverbs 18:16). However, we must be careful to guard these gifts and use them as the Holy Spirit leads. I feel the Lord is warning us to "not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet........" (Matt.7:6).
Removal of Clutter and Hindrances: The Lord Himself will remove any hindrances that have prevented us from seeing clearly the path ahead. This was brought home to me in a recent dream in which I was in a car, trying to drive from the back seat. There was a large man in the driver's seat, and I was having great difficulty seeing around him to the road ahead. We were in danger of going off the road and crashing. He finally pulled over in a mountainous area and allowed me to drive from the driver's seat.
In another recent dream, I was in a garage, making piles of things that were old, broken, etc., and that needed to be thrown away or hauled off. We had already cleared out the house, as new buyers were coming to take possession of the property. I heard the Lord say, "Get rid of the clutter!". This is our part to do, and we must be quick to obey. God's part is to remove the hindrances to the path He has set for us in 2010!

Stretch Your Tents in 2010!

I heard the Lord say, "Stretch", and I knew it was a word for the body of Christ in the coming year.

According to Webster's Dictionary, the word "stretch" is defined in the following ways: to enlarge; to cause to reach; to expand; to fulfill a larger function; to raise up from a cramped, stooping, or relaxed position.

Isa.54:2,3 - "Enlarge the place of your tent. Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your descendents will possess nations......"

Zech.1:16,17 - "I will return to Jerusalem with compassion.... and a measuring line will be stretched over Jerusalem.... My cities will again overflow with prosperity..... "

Nugget of Gold: The Lord is taking us out of our comfort zones as we enter into the new decade. We have to be willing to release those things that He is directing us to let go of (hopes, plans, fears, relationships, schedules, etc.) in order to move into the new place that He's taking us. Even now, the Lord is "stretching out a measuring line" over our new territory. He is causing us to have to "reach" in order to fulfill a larger function in His kingdom. Where we've been comfortable and relaxed, we will now feel an urgency to move and to exercise our gifts in a way that we haven't known before. New ministry opportunities will open to us as we are teachable and continue to move in complete obedience to the Holy Spirit's promptings. Our new "territory" will involve increased responsibility and will necessitate that we be properly connected and firmly planted in the Body as He ordains.

As we enter this new year and new decade, the Lord's mandate to "seek first His kingdom and His righteousness" (Matt.6:33) will be imperative. May our prayer be as Jabez (1Chron.4:10):

"Oh that Thou wouldst bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that Thy hand might be with me, and that Thou wouldst keep me from harm, that it may not pain me!"

"And God granted him what he requested."

The Knitting of Hearts

Ecc.4:12 - "...... A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart."

One of the significant works of the Holy Spirit in this season is to bring us into intimate, covenant relationship with one another in the body of Christ. As we see in Ecclesiastes 4, only two can resist the works of darkness, and "woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up." (Ecc.4:10). We see many people under attack in the church today, but some come through with ease, while others seem to lose heart and fall under depression and hopelessness. What makes the difference?

While meditating on this, I felt a strong witness of the Holy Spirit with regard to covenant relationships - not only marriage, but also friendships born of the Spirit. It is God who knits our hearts together with one another, as He knit the hearts of David and Jonathan.

1 Sam.18:1;3 - "The soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as himself. Then Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself."

This occurred before Jesus, the second Adam, came. Thus, man was a "living soul" and not a "life-giving spirit." (1 Cor.15:45) Therefore, it was the soul of David and Jonathan that the Lord knit together. However, the New Testament speaks of this same type of love relationship between a husband and wife:

Eph.5:33 - "..... Let each individual among you also love his own wife even as himself....."

Nugget of Gold: God has mandated new relationships for each of us this coming year. He will initiate them, and in so doing, will knit our hearts together as the hearts of David and Jonathan (and as the heart of a husband is knit with his wife). Two are indeed better than one, and the Lord is preparing us to stand strong in the days ahead. Not only will we be blessed by those that He brings into our lives, but together with the Lord, we will become those "cords of three strands" that cannot be quickly or easily broken apart!

Double Portion in the New Year

The Lord awakened me several mornings ago at 4:44 a.m. This morning, I was awakened at 3:33. Today is December 22nd. As I was pondering these numbers, the Lord quickened to me that He is releasing a double portion to His ministers in the new year! This will be a double portion of His presence and anointing, a double portion of wisdom and revelation, a double portion of provision and finances.

Job 42:10 - "And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased all that Job had twofold."
Isa.61:6,7 - "But you will be called the priests of the Lord. You will be spoken of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. Instead of your shame, you will have a double portion.... Therefore, they will possess a double portion in their land. Everlasting joy will be theirs."

A couple of months ago, the Lord revealed that where we have previously walked alone (as one), He will now bring a new relationship into our lives. The application may be in the form of a new ministry partner, a mate, or a business relationship. This is because "two are better than one, for they have a good return for their labor." (Ecc.4:9). Again, we see the emphasis on "double".

Nugget of Gold: The promise of a double portion belongs to those who are walking in covenant relationship with the Lord - His ministers! God is not only rewarding us for our faithful service, but He is equipping us to stand strong and do exploits for His Kingdom. We are entering a time when the world system will be growing darker and darker. However, this coming decade will mark the period that God's glorious church began to rise up and shine with His glory! Amen.

Word for 2010

1 John 5:4 - "For whatever is born (begotten) of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith."
Luke 2:49 - "Did you not know that I had to be about My Father's business?"

What has God birthed in your life this past year? A ministry....... a creative idea for a new company or product........ a place of service ...... a new partnership or relationship..... a new home, ministry or church location?

Fathers beget children and they also name them. I believe the Lord said that He is bringing great favor, prosperity, multiplication, and anointing in 2010 to those things that He has begotten. His glory will be seen upon the people, churches, and ministries that rise up to accomplish the work which He has given them to do in this hour.

John 17:4 - "I glorified Thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which Thou hast given Me to do."

He will exalt them as He did Joshua following the death of Moses:
Joshua 4:14 - "On that day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; so that they revered him, just as they had revered Moses all the days of his life."

There will be a clear distinction between activities that God Himself endorses and those that are merely works of the soul and flesh. The new year will see darkness growing darker and the Light growing brighter and brighter. We will be successful and prosper in spirit, soul, and body, only by putting our hands to those things the Lord is directing us to do.

John 9:4 - "We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no man can work."

3 Generations: God's Prophetic Plan

With the words in Exodus 3:6, "I AM the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob", the Lord establishes the principle of "The Three Generations". We see throughout scripture that the Lord works in covenant relationship with these three generations as a UNIT at any one time in history: the Fathers (gender neutral), the children, and the grandchildren. Our ability to enter into our full inheritance depends on our personal and corporate relationship with both our natural and spiritual fathers, children, and grandchildren.

We are in a time of "the changing of the guard", in which those who have been the Fathers (the Moses generation) are now passing away. Many of us in the body of Christ have witnessed the passing of our own fathers and mothers this past year, while the church has just seen the passing of one of our great spiritual fathers - Oral Roberts. I believe that over the past 40 years, the Lord has been raising up the new generation of Fathers, who are now ready to step into their covenant role. This generation of Fathers will be used to "turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest God come and smite the land with a curse." (Malachi 4:5,6)

The body of Christ has accurately identified the next generation of "young men" and of "children" (1 John 2:13) as having particular roles and anointings in this day, but few have realized that each generation needs the other in order to fully realize God's Kingdom purposes.

Hebrews 11:39,40 - "And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect."

I recently had a dream in which I was in a house with my family - father, mother, siblings, and children (3 generations). We were about to cook a meal, but I needed to return to my own home to get several things I had forgotten. When we had arrived the weather was calm and beautiful, but upon leaving the house to travel, I discovered that a huge snow storm had created drifts so deep that everything was buried. It made driving extremely treacherous. Then, I had to cross a body of water in a small boat. Coming over, the seas had been calm, but the weather was now stormy and the waves were huge. There were also enormous sea monsters that were constantly threatening to overturn my boat. I quickly returned to the house with my family where it was safe.

Nugget of Gold: I believe we have come to a time when the only safe place will be in Him, with all three generations represented and living in intimate harmony as ONE! There is a clarion call for the fathers (gender neutral) to take their place in the Body of Christ and to serve the "children" and the "grandchildren" in whatever way the Lord reveals. Ministry will more and more represent a blending of the three generations, which will produce a "cord of three strands that cannot be easily broken" (Ecc.4:12)!

More Revelations About Angels

Several trusted prophetic voices have spoken about increased angelic activity in this hour, and I believe the Lord is increasing our awareness of those who labor among us. Previous mention has been made of angels carrying dispatches (a message sent with speed, esp. an important official message sent by a diplomatic, military, or naval officer), as well as the angelic watchers (see Dan.4:13;17;23). Recently, the Lord quickened three additional types of angels who are being "sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation" (Hebrews 1:14).

Heralding angels, as seen in the announcement of the birth of Jesus in Luke 2:9-11 and an announcement of a different kind in Daniel 3:4, are being sent to the body of Christ during this season to proclaim and announce the changes that are coming. A "herald" is defined by Webster's Dictionary as "an officer sent by a King (or other high official) to proclaim a message or announce good news".

Isa. 48:3;6 - "I declared the former things long ago, and they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass..... I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things which you have not known."

Fiery angels are being sent by the Father to guard those whose hearts are turned toward Him, who bear the seal of the Holy Spirit. God's love for us is a jealous love, and the fire of His jealousy will consume everything that hinders love in our lives.

Song 8:6 - "Put me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death. Jealousy (its ardor is as inflexible) is as severe as Sheol; Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the Lord."
Hebrews 12:29 - "For our God is a consuming fire."
Hebrews 1:7 - "And of the angels He says, 'Who makes His angels winds, and His ministers a flame of fire.'"

Revelatory angels carry the understanding of the Word that the Body of Christ needs in this hour, as we see in the Book of Daniel:

Daniel 8:16 - "Gabriel, give this man understanding of the vision."

Nugget of Gold: We have entered into a new season on God's prophetic calendar, and He has ordained that His bride work more closely with the heavenly host than ever before. This requires a greater awareness of those who labor among us, including the purposes for which they are sent. Let us not "neglect so great a salvation!" (Heb.2:3)

Coming Out of the Wilderness

The Lord wants to do a new thing in each of our lives, but it requires us to "come out of the wilderness" into the new land that He has prepared for us - the place of our Inheritance! Regardless of our age or work history, we have been toiling under the hand of the taskmasters in the old field of labor - whether we're stay-at-home moms or corporate executives. We have been through a long period of "testing to know what was in our hearts" (Deut.8:2), in order that the Lord could bring us out to the place of freedom!

Gal.5:1;13 - "It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm, and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery....... For you were called to freedom, brethren, only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

The test of the "new thing" the Lord is doing in each of our lives is this: Was it born according to the flesh or by the Spirit of the living God? 1 John 5:4 tells us, "For whatever is born/begotten of God overcomes the world....."

Gal.4:23,24 - "But the son by the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and the son by the free woman through the promise..... These women are two covenants."

Nugget of Gold: This is a year to enter into our inheritance. The eyes of the Lord are upon our land and we will not be able to walk in the same manner as before. We cannot continue to serve two masters - God and mammon (Matt.6:24). We must "be about our Father's business" (Luke 2:49) and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in every step we take. We must have our minds renewed so that we're no longer walking "in the futility of our minds, being darkened in our understanding, excluded from the life of God." (Eph.4:17,18).

I believe the Lord has issued a decree on behalf of each of His children who heed His voice in this hour:

Rev.11:15 - "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever."

Foolish Virgins

Recently the Lord spoke the words "Foolish Virgin" to me. I was stunned and immediately began to seek the Lord about my condition. Matthew 25 tells us that the five foolish virgins were the ones who didn't take enough oil for their lamps as they were awaiting the return of their Bridegroom. The "lamp" represents the Word of God (Psa.119:105: "Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path."), and the Oil represents the Holy Spirit.

I knew that, like many people, I was spending daily time with the Lord in the study of His word. However, something was obviously lacking. I will admit to an occasional sense of being "disconnected" with the Lord, even when He was realeasing wonderful revelation from scripture. Every once in a while, though, there would be a special time when the presence of the Lord would be so tangible that my heart would be stirred and tears would flow!

Then I saw it! Our heavenly Bridegroom wants this type of interaction with His Bride on a regular (if not daily) basis. He wants our passion to be ignited for Him, as His is for us! Only then will the oil of the Holy Spirit flow in and through us as we are filled with His presence and anointing.

Song of Songs 5:2-8 - "I was asleep, but my heart was awake. A voice! My beloved was knocking: 'Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my perfect one! For my head is drenched with dew'......My beloved extended his hand through the opening, and my feelings were aroused for him. I arose to open to my beloved; and my hands dripped with myrrh, and my fingers with liquid myrrh....My heart went out to him as he spoke.....I am lovesick."

Nugget of Gold: The oil of the Holy Spirit is released only as we spend intimate time with the Living Word of God, allowing our hearts to be touched and stirred by our Bridegroom. This requires intentional time spent in His presence where we become united with Him body, soul, and spirit. Not only are our minds engaged, but, more importantly, our HEARTS are engaged. Jesus told the five foolish virgins, "Truly I say to you, I do not know you." He had never been intimate with them.

Oh Lord, draw us after You and let us run together as we daily go about our Father's business!

The Ministry of Angels

I believe we are living in a time of increased angelic activity and interaction with the body of Christ. The Lord is giving us heightened awareness of those who minister among us so that we may cooperate more fully with His kingdom purposes in this hour.

I had a recent vision of a "portal" open in the heavenlies over a particular area, and I was reminded of "Jacob's ladder" on which angels were ascending and descending between heaven and earth.

Genesis 28:10-17 - "And he came to a certain place and spent the night there.....And he had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it."

I believe there are many such places through which the angelic messengers carry "dispatches" to us from the Father. A "dispatch" is a message sent with speed, especially an important official message sent by a diplomatic, military, or naval officer. It is the Captain of the Hosts Himself, of course, who is sending these dispatches to His soldiers on earth as we enter a new phase of spiritual warfare. I recently had a quick vision of multitudes of angelic messengers going forth throughout the atmosphere, and I knew that many directives were being sent.

During a recent ministry time, I heard the Lord say, "Angelic Watchers". I knew He was referring to a special rank of being mentioned in the Book of Daniel:

Daniel 4:13 - "I was looking in the visions in my mind as I lay on my bed, and behold, and angelic watcher, a holy one, descended from heaven...."
Daniel 4:17 - "This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers, and the decision is a command of the holy ones, in order that the living may know that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, and bestows it on whom He wishes, and sets over it the lowliest of men."
Daniel 4:23 - "And in that the king saw an angelic watcher, a holy one, descending from heaven and saying, 'Chop down the tree and destroy it....'"

Webster's Dictionary defines "watcher" as: "an observer; an official representative who is stationed to watch the conduct of the people (as at the poles during an election)".

Nugget of Gold: It is essential that we learn to recognize the ministry of God's angels in this day. We must ask the Lord to open our spiritual eyes to see beyond the natural and quickly obey that which the Lord is directing us to do. Psalm 103:20 tells us that the angels are "mighty in strength, and perform His word, obeying the voice of His word!" May we be fully engaged with the heavenly host in carrying out God's plans in this hour!

Shadow of Death

On September 11th of this year, after going to bed shortly before 11:00 p.m., I felt the presence of evil pass over me in the atmosphere above. It was like a big cloud moving over the city (of Houston). There was electricity in the air, and I kept asking the Lord if I needed to get up and go somewhere to hide, etc. When He didn't indicate any action on my part, I simply went to sleep. However, as I was asking the Lord about the incident the next morning, I heard Him say that the "cloud of evil" had been the shadow of death.

There is a current assignment of the enemy against God's people, causing depression and hopelessness. The Lord revealed that this is an activity of the spirit of the Shadow of Death. This spirit brings darkness into the lives of Christians. In fact, one of the definitions of the word "shadow", according to Webster's Dictionary, is "the dark figure cast upon a surface by a body intercepting the rays from a source of light". The Lord, of course, is our source of light. When we take our eyes off of Him and focus on the circumstances around us, we allow the enemy to cast his shadow over us. If we remain in this shadow for any length of time, we then become subject to depression, hopelessness, deception, fear, lethargy, a sense of isolation from friends and family, sickness or disease that doesn't respond to prayers or medical treatment, and a host of other symptoms. However, there is good news!

Psalm 107:10,13,14 - "There were those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death. Prisoners in misery and chains.... Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands apart."

Nugget of Gold: Another definition of the word "shadow" is "shelter from danger or observation".

Psalm 91:1-4 - "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, 'My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust'.... He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge..."

Let us continually dwell in the Presence of God that we may be protected from the power of evil in this day!

Hope vs. Desire

As the Body of Christ enters the new year on the Jewish calendar, I believe the Lord would have us come before Him as Esther did. Once she had undergone a period of preparation, during which time she walked in faith and obedience to that which she was instructed to do, there came a time to appear before the King. It is recorded that she found great favor with the King and that he extended his scepter to her and asked for her request (Esther 5:2,3) .

The Lord recently quickened to me that there's a difference between Hope and Desire.
The word "hope", as defined by Webster's Dictionary, means "desire accompanied by expectation of or belief in a future fulfillment". The word "desire" encompasses those things hoped for, but it also includes a request or petition for action!

Esther 5:3-8 - "Then the king said to her, 'What is troubling you, Queen Esther? And what is your request? Even to half of the kingdom it will be given to you.... Then the king said, 'Bring Haman quickly that we may do as Esther desires......So Esther answered and said, 'My petition and my request is: if I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition and do what I request, may the king and Haman come to the banquet which I shall prepare....'"

Nugget of Gold: I believe the Lord is saying that it is time to come before Him with our requests - those promises that He has given us and that have become the desires of our hearts. We have been faithful to HOPE in the future fulfillment of what God has spoken, but it is now time to make a REQUEST before the King. What are the promises that the Lord has been quickening in the past days, weeks, or even months? Come before Him boldly, knowing that His favor is upon you and that His scepter is extended.

A Servant's Heart

Many of those in the Body of Christ are asking the Lord to use them in the same way that we see the disciples being used in the Book of Acts. Recently, as I was praying that God would choose and send me, I heard Him say,
"I only send those with a servant's heart!"

He then took me to the following scriptures:

Acts 6:1-3 - "Now at this time while the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint arose on the part of the Hellenistic Jews against the native Hebrews, because their widows were being overlooked in the daily serving of food. And the twelve summoned the congregation of the disciples and said, 'It is not desirable for us to neglect the word of God in order to serve tables. But select from among you, brethren, seven men of good reputation, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task.'"

Two of the seven chosen to serve included Stephen and Philip, who were both used mightily by the Lord in the working of miracles, signs, and wonders.

Acts 6:8 - "And Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and signs among the people."

Acts 8:6 - "And the multitudes, with one accord, were giving attention to what was said by Philip, as they heard and saw the signs which he was performing."

Nugget of Gold: Only those with a servant's heart will be used by God for the working of the miracles and signs that He has reserved for this time. His servants will be full of the Holy Spirit, full of grace, wisdom, faith, and power, to perform the tasks that He will assign in the days ahead. Will we be counted in this number?

Line of Demarcation

I heard the Lord say, "Line of Demarcation". The word "demarcate", according to Webster's Dictionary, means "to mark a boundary; set apart; separate".

Jer.31:39,40 - "And the measuring line shall go out....and (it) shall be holy to the Lord ....."

Zech.1:16 - "'Therefore, thus says the Lord, 'I will return to Jerusalem with compassion; My house will be built in it and a measuring line will be stretched over Jerusalem.'"

Mal.3:18 - "So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve Him."

Nugget of Gold: I believe the Lord is saying that we have come to a time of great clarity, in which God is revealing the true nature of people and of nations. The Lord has been in the process of "marking" His people, and I believe He is now drawing a clear line of separation between those who are righteous before Him and those who are not. He has already called His people out of "Babylon" (in our hearts, if not in actual life circumstances) so that we might not fall under the judgements that are coming. He has called us to be true worshipers, thus leaving out the outer court of those who serve the flesh (Rev.11:1,2). The Blood Line of His covenant with us will protect our households from destruction (Josh.2:18,21).

The time of decision is upon us. We can no longer "hesitate between two opinions" (1 Kings18:21). We must either choose God or Baal!

The Creative Word

Before something comes into existence in the natural realm, it is first created by the Word of Faith! It is first declared and proclaimed. The process begins when those with "ears to hear" receive a Word of Knowledge, a Word of Wisdom, a prophetic word. Inherent in the Word of God is the seed of that which is spoken. When we unite our faith with the Word and speak it forth, the power of the Holy Spirit creates that which is spoken.

It is the Lord's way to first speak (declare and proclaim) that which He has created, and then, once announced, it comes forth into the natural realm (much like a child being born). And so we see that the thing created originated with God, and not with man.

Isa.42:9 - "Behold, the former things have come to pass. Now I declare new things. Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you."

"spring" - according to Webster's dictionary, means to come up or out of something into existence; implies rapid or sudden emerging (as in creation or birth)

Heb.11:3 - "By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible." (They were spoken into existence)

Isa.48:3-7 - "I declared the former things long ago, and they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted and they came to pass...Therefore I declared them to you long ago. Before they took place I proclaimed them to you...I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things which you have not known. They are created now and not long ago."

Nugget of Gold: The Lord is doing something new in this season! We must listen carefully to what He is saying to us individually, as well as corporately, and come into quick agreement with it. Then, we must declare, decree, and proclaim that which the Holy Spirit is speaking over our lives, our families, our jobs, our ministry, the nation, etc. When we follow this "pattern", we will see those things which we are speaking "spring forth" into this natural realm.

The Lord is doing a quick work in this day. It is imperative that we hear Him speak and then speak what we hear!

Showers of Blessings

As we turn to the Lord with a whole heart and reach out to Him, He will come to us like the rain. As our soul longs for Him, He comes with Showers of Blessings! And while this is to be our constant posture before the Lord, we are in a particular season of His rain upon our "land". The result is that the seed we have sown by faith will now "bear and sprout", and "the tree of the field will yield its fruit". As we see in Joel 2:18-27, this is a time of restoration and fruitfulness for God's people! This is a season when the Lord is pouring down the early and latter rain for increase and supply.

Nugget of Gold: Stretch out your heart to the Lord. Expect Him to respond. Thank Him for the rains of His Spirit, which will refresh your soul and cause all that you do to prosper. This is a time of advancement in His Kingdom as we rejoice in all that He has done (and all that He is going to do)!

Psalm 143:6 - "I stretch out my hands to Thee; My soul longs for Thee, as a parched land."

Hosea 6:1-3 - "And He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth."

Isa.55: 6;10 - "Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near.....For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, and making it bear and sprout..."

Ezek.34:26,27 - "And I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing. Also, the tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its increase..."

Claim Your Inheritance!

We have now entered the Jewish New Year, and according to Chuck Pierce, one of the chief hallmarks of this season is "occupying your inheritance".

I have just returned from my father's funeral, and I found myself thanking the Lord for His blessings and kindness and also claiming the inheritance that the Lord has for me and each member of my family:

My Mother, according to 1 Peter 3:1-6;8-12: The blessing God has for her because of 63 years of submitting to Dad with a humble, gentle spirit, keeping the peace and creating a harmonious home at all times. She truly is/was a "Sarah" to my father's "Abraham", showing him honor in all things and at all times.
Each of my 5 Sisters and 1 Brother, according to Eph.6:1-3: The blessing of a long life and of it being well with them because they have always honored their father and mother in both word and deed.
All of my Father's Household: Salvation because of the faith and prayers of my great-grandmother (on my father's side), who undoubtedly sowed the seeds that resulted in my father's salvation, as well as the rich spiritual inheritance that has been passed down through the generations.
My two children: Thanksgivings for their own inheritance, both spiritually (on both sides of the family), and materially through their father's family.
Myself: As my father's first born, the double portion inheritance of the first born upon the death of one's father. Even though I'm a female, I know that in the Lord, "there is neither male nor female" (Gal.3:28).

Nugget of Gold: Claim your inheritance! Let the Father reveal to you all the "riches of the glory of His inheritance in you" (Eph.1:18). Enter into your inheritance by faith. Stand as a Priest for the members of your family and claim their inheritance as well. Stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf as you agree with Him and declare and decree His promises.

Day of the Witness

With the advent of the Jewish New Year this week, I believe the Lord is saying that we are entering the season of His Witnesses. The pattern for this can be found in Revelation 11.

Nugget of Gold: God's Witnesses will be those who dwell in the sanctuary/tabernacle, whose hearts are completely His. These will be true worshipers. Those in the "outer court", who walk in the flesh and not in the Spirit, are excluded from this company.

The Lord will grant great authority to His Witnesses and they will both prophesy (proclaim and decree what He is saying) and perform great signs and wonders. This is because the Lord Himself will "bear witness to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands." (Acts14:3).

There will be a constant flow of fresh oil (the anointing) from the throne for this company of Witnesses, and the Lord will protect them from the power of evil. They will be clothed in humility and will not "love their lives even to death" (Rev.12:11).

The season we are entering will be a foreshadowing of the Great Tribulation. God has chosen and set apart beforehand those believers who will be Witnesses of all the things that He is doing in this hour (Acts 10:39-41).

Isa.43:10 - "'You are My witnesses', declares the Lord, 'And My servant whom I have chosen....'"

Isa.44:8 - "Do not tremble and do not be afraid. Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it? And you are My witnesses."

The Staple of Wisdom

I heard the Lord say, "staple". Webster's Dictionary defines this word as "the sustaining or principal element; source; place of supply; a chief commodity or production of a place."

Prov.24:13,14 - "My son, eat honey, for it is good. Yes, honey from the comb is sweet to your taste. Know that wisdom is thus for your soul. If you find it, then there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off."

Nugget of Gold: We have entered a time when the only thing that will sustain us is God's Wisdom in every situation and each aspect of our lives. God's Wisdom is our only source of supply and the chief element of our existence. Rick Joyner, in his recorded vision "The Quest", describes Wisdom as a Person, the Third Person of the Trinity. In this vision, the Holy Spirit manifested His presence in such a way that each decision and each step of the unfolding battle was made with His counsel. So, too, do we need to cultivate an active relationship with Wisdom Himself so that we will assure our future (and that of our loved ones), and our "hope will not be cut off" prematurely in the days ahead.

Clouds and Glory

I heard the Lord say, "The clouds are hiding My Glory."

In Texas, we're in a time of intense prayer and fasting for the Glory of God to come into our midst. This is in response to a vision that Chuck Pierce had in May (this year) of the Glory coming to each state in our nation. God's Glory is a manifestation of His presence, and so we are crying out, not only for visitation, but for His manifest presence to remain in our midst.

Moses had a similar desire, and we see him cry to the Lord in Exodus33:18, "I pray Thee, show me Thy Glory!" God responded to him, and in Exodus 34:5, "And the Lord descended in the cloud and stood there with him as he called upon the name of the Lord."

Exod. 24:15-18 - "Then Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. And the glory of the Lord rested on Mt. Sinai, and the cloud covered it....and Moses entered the midst of the cloud."

Exod. 20:18-21 - "And all the people perceived the thunder and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance. Then they said to Moses, 'Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not God speak to us, lest we die.' And Moses said to the people, 'Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may remain with you, so that you may not sin.'

"So the people stood at a distance, while Moses approached the thick cloud where God was."

Nugget of Gold: Only those with the heart of Moses will see the Glory of God! He will reveal Himself to those who hunger and thirst for Him, whose hearts have been sanctified by the working of the Holy Spirit. Those who love Him are also known by Him (1 Cor.8:3), and He will gladly answer the heart cry of those who press in to seek His face and who desire to know His ways.

To the casual Christian, however, His Glory is "hidden in the clouds." These are the people who are content to stand at a distance and let others (the pastor, the prophet, etc.) hear for them and announce God's words. Fear of man, rather than fear of God, rules in their lives.

But, there is still time to "seek God while He may be found; to call on Him while He is near!" (Isa.55:6)

Untold Treasures

I heard the Lord say, "Untold Treasures". The word "untold", according to Webster's Dictionary, means "vast; too great or numerous to count; not told or related; kept secret."

1 Cor.2:9 - "Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man. All that God has prepared for those who love Him."

2 Chron. 32:27 - "Now Hezekiah had immense (vast) riches and honor; and he made for himself treasuries for silver, gold, precious stones....for God had given him very great wealth."

Proverbs 24:3,4 - "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established, and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches."

Nugget of Gold: It is God's wisdom that will produce the wealth that is coming to His people, the "untold treasures" that have been held in reserve for this time. The wisdom of the world has failed, BUT, "Wisdom has built her house" (Prov.9:1). Those who walk in God's wisdom will receive and be trusted with this great wealth. This wisdom is hidden from the casual seeker, as well as the powers and principalities (1Cor.2:7,8). It is for the mature in Christ (1Cor.2:6).

We have entered a time when the full administration of God is being brought to light, "in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in heavenly places." (Eph.3:9&10). We have entered a time when we must receive God's instructions for every decision we make and every step that we take. As we do this, our every need will be met; but most importantly, there will be an abundance for the work of the Kingdom in this critical hour!

Grace to Gather

I feel the Lord is saying that we are entering the new "field" that He has prepared for us. The Holy Spirit has led us to a new "land of our possession", both in the spirit and in the natural. He has called us out of Egypt - out of the past, with the old ways of thinking, acting, and securing provision for the present and the future.

Deut.11:10-15 - "For the land into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came....(it is) a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it....He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your new wine and your oil."

Ruth 2:7;12 - "Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves."
"May the Lord reward your work and your wages be full from the Lord....under whose wings you have come to seek refuge."

Matt.13:39 - "......the reapers are angels."

Nugget of Gold: The Lord is sending His angels ahead of us to reap a spiritual and a natural harvest. The angels are co-laborers with us. Pray for the Lord to send them forth to reap the souls for whom you have been praying, as well as the provision that you require to do the work of the kingdom. Know that you are working with His angels as you gather in your fruit. He has promised to give you "great and splendid cities which you did not build, and houses full of all good things which you did not fill....vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you shall eat and be satisfied. "(Deut.6:10,11) There is grace to reap and to gather a great harvest if we are in the "field" the Lord has appointed to us!

Eyes to See and Ears to Hear

Have you been praying and seeking God for a greater ability to hear His voice and see in the spirit realm? If so, this is a desire of the heart that the Lord is gladly satisfying in this critical hour. We find one of the keys to our prayer in scripture:

Matt.13:13-15 - "Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
'You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; and you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive. For the heart of this people has become dull.....'"

"Perceive" - to become aware of through the senses

Nugget of Gold: Pray for the Lord to increase your awareness of what you're seeing - for help focusing on and recognizing that which He is showing you. Pray for the Lord to increase your ability to separate His voice from all the other voices you hear ("My sheep hear My voice" - John 10:27). Then, ask Him for increased understanding of what you hear Him speak. Pray for your heart to be awakened to Him as in Song of Songs 5:2.

This is a time when we must know the voice of our Bridegroom and see what He desires us to see - not only in the natural realm, but IN THE SPIRIT! Thus, we need our spiritual senses awakened and trained to discern.

Heb. 5:14 - "But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses (spiritual) trained to discern good and evil."

The River

I believe we are in a time when the Lord is releasing the River that flows from His sanctuary in such a measure that we'll have to SWIM in it. No longer will we be able to just get our feet wet or wade in the shallow waters. We'll have to be in "the flow of the Spirit", or we'll remain on the sidelines watching what the Holy Spirit is doing in this time. Worse, we'll be in a dry place that isn't receiving the life and healing that these waters will bring to us, our families, our businesses, and those around us.

Rev.22:1 - "And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb."
Ezek.47:9;12 - "And it will come about that every living creature which swarms in every place where the river goes will live. And there will be very many fish, for these waters go there, and the others become fresh (are healed); so everything will live where the river goes."
"And by the river on its bank.....will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing."

I had a dream two years ago in which I was on a raft in a swift moving river. There were people on either side of this river sitting in lawn chairs just watching and waving to those of us who were floating by.

Nugget of Gold: I believe that the pattern we see in Ezek.47 has culminated in the time of the river that we have to be completely "in". No longer can we just "get our feet wet" in the things of God, or go out just so far before we run back to shore where it's "safe". The Lord is calling us to be more than spectators in that which He is unfolding. If we find ourselves in a "dry" place in any area of our lives, we need to find the flow of the Holy Spirit and jump in with both feet! Only then will we prosper spirit, soul, and body.

Whirlwind (Part 2)

I believe the Lord is saying that this is the time of His whirlwind (see previous post on August 21st). The whirlwind of the Lord is destructive to the wicked, but it serves as a means of deliverance and salvation to the righteous.

"Destruction is coming, but today is the day of salvation."

Nugget of Gold: Destruction is coming for those who have built on any foundation other than Jesus (1Cor.3:11), but His whirlwind will pick up and propel His righteous ones to the place that He's prepared for us. This will be a place of safety and of being in the flow of His covenant blessings!

Prov.10:24,25 - "What the wicked fears will come upon him, and the desire of the righteous will be granted. When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation."

Babylon

I believe I hear the Lord saying,
Rev.18:4 - "Come out of her, my people, that you may not participate in her sins and that you may not receive of her plagues."
Rev.18:2 - "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! And she has becoma a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit...."
Rev.18:10 - "For in one hour your judgement has come."

Nugget of Gold: I believe the Lord is causing His people to "come out" of the Babylon world economic/financial system - first in our hearts, and then for some, also with regard to jobs, etc. God's judgment is on this world system, which is under the rule of Satan (1 John5:19). This cycle of judgment begain on Sept.11, 2001, and is about to enter an even more intense period. According to the Book of Revelations, we know that the Lord's judgments will only increase in severity as we approach the end of this age. Now is the time to quickly obey what the Spirit of God is saying to us individually, as He's been preparing our hearts for "such a time as this". His grace is available to us as we step out in faith! His provision is for those who will allow Him to be Lord with regard to finances.

Question: "Where are we placing our trust? What are we depending on for our future? Is it the government, our 401K, our retirement fund, our ability to work as we have in the past?" It's time to settle these things in our heart, and then to ACT accordingly!

Whirlwind

Two weeks ago, while praying with several friends about a ministry we know the Lord is about to birth, I found myself prophesying the following:
Ezekiel 37:9 - "Thus says the Lord God, 'Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.'"

I immediately saw a whirlwind in the atmosphere above our church, and I knew that the four winds of the Spirit had come together to form it. A "whirlwind" is defined by Webster's Dictionary as "a small rotating windstorm marked by an inward and upward spiral motion of the lower air and usually a progressive motion at all levels". A whirlwind is typified by a "rising up" and a forward motion, in addition to speed and force.

Today, as I was praying for a new business endeavor the Lord has birthed, I once more found myself prophesying, "Thus says the Lord God, 'Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.'" I feel the Lord is indicating a work of the Spirit in this hour with regard to the new place He is wishing to take each of us.

Chuck Pierce, in his most recent word entitled "Cut Ties, Cut Losses, and Position Yourself for the Wind of the Future", says the following: "You must bring forth the wind and create the road so you will end up where I have called you to be - new businesses, new alignments, new assignments.......The intensity that is behind the word is pushing you forward at speeds and levels that we know not of...." Sounds like a whirlwind, doesn't it?

Nugget of Gold: Prophesy over the new ministry, assignment, or business that the Lord has put on your heart. He has already birthed it in the Spirit and now is the time for it to manifest in your life. Prophesy over it! Call for the four winds of the Spirit to come and bring breath to it! As you do, you will begin to see "sinews and flesh" come to your business or ministry as it forms in this natural realm. ACT NOW by faith!

Be Alert!

These are perilous times, and the Lord is calling His people to be alert and sober....to PAY ATTENTION! Things in the spirit and in the natural are changing rapidly. There is a shift, a realigning. The enemy is poised to strike, but the Lord knows and laughs at his plans (Psa.2:4).

He has promised to tell us in advance about those things that affect our lives, but we have to be listening and be prepared to act immediately!
Matt.24:25 - "Behold, I have told you in advance."

He warns and instructs us in dreams and visions (often night visions). Have you had a recent dream (or one from months or even years ago that the Lord is quickening to you now)? Ask Him if it applies to this time; ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and understanding to know what you're to do. If your dream can be taken literally, pay attention to it! My daughter, who is two months pregnant with my first grandchild, recently had a very vivid dream in which the Lord spoke a medical term that she didn't know with regard to the baby in her womb. Upon awakening, she looked up the term and realized that the Lord had been warning her about a condition that she needs to come against in prayer, but also to alert her doctor for effective treatment.
Matt.2:12 - "And having been warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed for their own country by another way."
Matt.2:13 - ".....an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, 'Arise and take the Child and His mother, and flee to Egypt.....'"
Matt.2:22 - "And being warned by God in a dream, he departed for the regions of Galilee...."
Job 33:14-18

The Lord positions us so that we're not only in a place of safety from the enemy's attack, but in order to be most effective for His Kingdom. This applies to our homes, our jobs, school, the church where the Lord has planted us - every area of our lives. Are you sensing a shift in one or more of these areas? If so, press in to hear what the Lord is instructing you in this hour!

"That which was spoken through the prophets will be fulfilled" (Matt.2:23). The Lord has written in His book all the days that are ordained for us (Psa.139:16). However, He has given us the free will to choose to obey Him. May we receive the grace to respond as Jesus did:
Heb.10:7 - "Then I said, 'Behold, I have come (In the roll of the book it is written of Me) to do Thy will, O God.'"

Authority - The Reward of Faithfulness

I believe this is a time that the Lord is rewarding our faithfulness from the previous season. We are about to enter into the new year on the Hebrew calendar (Sept.18 at sundown - Rosh Hashanah). I believe that the Lord is bringing certain things in our lives (personal and corporate) to completion as He shifts us into that which is before us.

Luke 19:17 - "Well done good slave. Because you have been faithful in a very little thing, be in authority over ten cities."

Pat Hodges, prophet: "God takes us from a place of faithfulness to a place of authority."

Chuck Pierce, prophet: "God is bringing us to a new level of authority. The testing we've been through has qualified us if we've pressed through to victory."

Rev.2: 26,27 - "And he who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron.....as I also have received authority from My Father."

In Revelations 19:13-15 and Psalm 2:9, we see that the "rod of iron" and the Word of God/Sword of the Spirit are one and the same.

Nugget of Gold: The Lord is now promoting those who have overcome their testings and trials in this past season. This reward involves increased power and authority in the Spirit, which we are going to need for the battles ahead. Just as Jesus rules with a "rod of iron" and the "sword of the Spirit" that proceeds from His mouth, so, too, will we rule over our circumstances with the Word that we speak and decree.

Psalm 149:6-9 - "Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishment on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron (the demonic); to execute on them the judgment written. This is an honor for all his godly ones. Praise the Lord!"

Abundance

Genesis 39:2,3 - "And the Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man...Now his master saw that the Lord was with him, and how the Lord caused all that he did to prosper in his hand."

Genesis 39:21 - "But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer."

1Chron.4:10 (Prayer of Jabez): "Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, 'Oh that Thou wouldst bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that Thy hand might be with me, and that Thou wouldst keep me from harm, that it may not pain me!"

Nugget of Gold: This is a time that the hand of the Lord is with us to bless us and bring success to all that we put our hands to. The qualifier, of course, is that He has birthed that which we're doing. I believe the Lord is saying two things about His blessings and provision at this time:

Our provision WILL NOT RUN OUT according to 1 Kings17:16 - "The bowl of flour was not exhausted, nor did the jar of oil become empty, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke through Elijah."
Our supply will not merely be sufficient to meet our needs, but ABUNDANT! 2 Cor.9:8 - "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed." Isa.60:5 - "Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and rejoice; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you."

Prayer/Action Step: Ask the hand of the Lord to be with you. Come into agreement with what the Lord is doing. Declare it by faith! Prophesy over your circumstances, your finances, your supply!

Ezek.37:4 - "Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'"

The Kingdom

Rev.11:15 - "The Kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever."

Nugget of Gold: Though we are "in the world, we are not of the world (John 17:16)". Within our "sphere of authority" (2 Cor.10:13), there is no separation between our spiritual walk and our physical experiences of job, family, home, etc. We have the same Spirit of Wisdom, Spirit of Understanding, Counsel, Knowledge, Strength, Fear of the Lord, and Spirit of the Lord found in Isaiah 11: 1-3. We know that Daniel, Joseph, Queen Esther, and others, walked in this reality in which there was no separation between the two "kingdoms". As they advanced in the Spirit, they were also advanced by God to stand before kings!

See Daniel 6:1-3; Genesis 41:38-44

Prayer: Lord, show me how to walk in the reality of this truth. Grant me wisdom and revelation concerning any separation I've made between my "church/spiritual" life and my responsibilities as wife (husband), mother (father), employee (employer), friend, etc., in the world. May Thy Kindgom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matt.6:10) in all areas of my life! May the two become one, that I may rule and reign with Jesus on the earth.

Finalize

I felt I heard the Lord say, "Finalize".

Webster's Dictionary defines this word as meaning: "to put in final or finished form; being the last in a series, process, or progress; of or relating to the ultimate purpose or result of a process"

I was reminded of Proverbs 9:1-6 (see previous Post):

"Wisdom has built her house."
"She has hewn out her seven pillars."
"She has prepared her food,"
"She has mixed her wine;"
"She has also set her table;"
"She has sent out her maidens,"
"She calls from the tops of the heights of the city.......Come eat of my food, and drink of the wine I have mixed......"

The Jewish New Year begins on September 19th with Rosh Hashanah. Chuck Pierce, in his "Starting the Year Off Right" conference this past January 1st, prophesied that there would be a month reprieve (pause; break) in the Spirit between August and September.

Nugget of Gold: I believe the Lord is telling us to finalize those things that He has begun in our lives and circumstances (job, family, ministry, etc.) that are within our control. Have we completed all that He has instructed us to do? Have we obeyed Him in every detail? During this "window" of time in the Spirit, let us pray for Him to finalize those things that are beyond our control, such as court decisions, business transactions, divine connections and provision, etc. I believe that His grace is being abundantly provided for this work of the Spirit, and that it is an essential step in preparing us for what lies ahead!

Shift!

I feel the Lord is saying, "Shift!"

Webster's Dictionary defines "shift" as: a change in direction; a change in place or position; a removal from one person to another - transfer (as in "wealth")

Chuck Pierce in his article, "Changing Winds Will Produce New Trade Routes....." says the following:

"Watch for supply structures to change (shift)."
"This is a time, no matter where you are positioned, for you to gain your skills for the next season.......This is a new season. Hear Me now: the season has shifted!"
"You are relying on old supply methods and now they will shift and you will have dreams and visions that tear down old methodologies and cause new systems to come forth."
"The times have changed. The supply has turned. The flow has shifted. Today is a new beginning for those who have received My word and are willing to shift and catch the wind in their sails. The supply lines have turned. Grab the new lines and enjoy the journey to the destination. Do not worry about how you are going to do this - just receive the grace you will need to make the shift!"

Chuck released the above in December of 2008. If you look back at your life and circumstances over this past year, you will see that the Lord has been changing the way you think, the way you worship, and the way you view your current job or source of income. You may have learned a new skill, made new connections and formed new relationships (even with people who were already in your life), started a new business. In all these things, the Lord has been preparing us to shift into the NEW!

Nugget of Gold: Make the shift NOW! By prophetic act and declaration, step out and proclaim that you have shifted by faith into the new place the Lord has prepared for you!

Yield

I believe the Lord is speaking to us today to yield to Him.

The word "yield", according to Webster's Dictionary, means the following:

Submit
to give up and cease resistance
to give place
full surrendering after resistance or conflict to the will or control of another

2 Chron.30:8 - "Now do not stiffen your neck like your fathers, but yield to the Lord and enter His sanctuary....and serve the Lord your God...."

Job 22:21 - "Yield now (know intimately) and be at peace with Him."

Nugget of Gold: Our intimacy with the Lord is determined by the amount of yieldness in our lives - body, soul, and spirit. He desires that we be "filled up to all the fullness of Him", but He is able to fill only those places in us that are completely yielded to Him. So......we have as much of Him as we desire/allow.

Prayer: Lord, grant me the grace to surrender in each area of my life where I have not given You full control. Make me aware of each place in which You are not Lord so that I might repent and stop resisting Your Holy Spirit. Fill me Lord!
